To think this song can't be serious. Please tell me it was created as a joke?

Just came across this song and video on my youtube. Apparently it reached number 1!

I'm traumatised from just watching it!

It was meant as a joke surely?

"Don't Hanson have a fuckton of kids between them now?

At the last count I believe it was 12"

I think Taylor has 5, Zac has 4 and Isaac has 3. They are from a family of 7 kids themselves.

This thread has made me so happy! So much nostalgia

Ahem, Op!!!!

As someone said upthread, I think OP has either got lost down a youtube wormhole of cheese or is despairing at all of us now Grin

Hudson10 · 11/07/2017 09:31

"I will never be your woman...."

Hudson10 · 11/07/2017 09:36

I bought Mmmbop as a CD single on my first holiday to France, aged 11 or 12.

I went to my Y8 school disco in combat trousers and a camouflage t shirt from Mark 1.

My friends and I are very nostalgic for the days when we could go into town with a fiver and make it last all day: 45p return bus ticket, £1.99 happy meal, 50p nail varnish from the market and £1.99 strappy top from Mark 1 Grin

"Ooh, baby, baby, push it real good..."

Heartofglass12345 · 11/07/2017 10:07

I got to see steps for the first time in 2012 when i was 27. I nearly cried!! All my dreams came true 😃😃

squoosh · 11/07/2017 10:21

It has literally only occurred to me in the last couple of years ago that Salt N Pepa's 'oh baby, push it real good' is referring to shagging!

derxa · 11/07/2017 10:23

Hudson10 · 11/07/2017 11:00

Sorry, pressed too soon. Meant to add how can I remember all the sodding words to Dizzy when I haven't heard it for about 20 years?! Grin
No wonder I can never remember anything important, my head's too full of 90s cheese lyrics... Grin

MuddlingMackem · 11/07/2017 11:09

Ah, but @Hudson10, the Vengaboys Ibiza was a cover of this song from my 70s childhood Grin:
