Sorry not really AIBU - just surprised.

And sorry for the Daily Mail link! www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-4681190/Harper-Beckham-celebrates-birthday-Buckingham-palace.html

Her family does sound quite sweet though!

What else surprised you today?

Did you find a pound coin in your pocket? Did your favourite song come on the radio? Did you bump in to mrs smith from no.39 in the supermarket?

I need to know!!

Tailypo · 10/07/2017 11:17

Same old snide comments araiwa - everything okay?

saoirse31 · 10/07/2017 11:18

Maybe u should have read the article op.

Tailypo · 10/07/2017 11:19

I did saoirse Confused what do you mean? It doesn't say why she was at Buckingham Palace.

Sparklingbrook · 10/07/2017 11:20

Your thread title is a bit misleading. Sounds like it was some sort of strange school trip.

2014newme · 10/07/2017 11:20

Read your own link.
She didn't have her birthday party at the palace 🙄

Tailypo · 10/07/2017 11:23

Sorry everyone Blush

I've now seen that it says at the top of the article that her, and children from several other schools, were invited to Buckingham Palace. The title of the article was misleading.

I guess it serves me right for making the mistake of posting in AIBU!

You might want to read the links you're posting OP Hmm

SumThucker · 10/07/2017 11:24

Aah well, no harm done.

OhFuds · 10/07/2017 11:27

Rylan, Holly and Phil have just been talking about this too and the way Rylan was going on he made it sound like Harper had had her birthday party at the palace.

CoolCarrie · 10/07/2017 11:31

Rylan and This Morning are hardly reliable sources for anything!

Scrumpington · 10/07/2017 11:39

The pile of birthday gifts. Wow, it must have taken a while to open them all!

Hudson10 · 10/07/2017 11:56

The title of the article was misleading.

Daily Mail in clickbait headline shocker Grin
Sorry Grin

In all fairness, it's really annoying when papers do that (certain "lifestyle" mags are terrible lately for doing that).
More likely to put me off reading them, so achieving the exact opposite.

gemsandstones · 10/07/2017 12:13

Did all their friends club together and buy the same gift wrapping paper? Or have the Beckams re wrapped them all with their own special wrapping paper? Or are those just pretty boxes to decorate the room for photos? Confused

astoundedgoat · 10/07/2017 12:13

I mostly like the little girl who has her Anna cloak on backwards like a giant bib in the group picture with Eugenie.

DM trying to make a story out of nothing as per.

2014newme · 10/07/2017 12:28

Op it's not posting in aibu that's your mistake it's posting a totally incorrect thread title and a link that states the opposite.
Ie not reading and Comprehending before posting incorrect nonsense
Hth.

BabyShock · 10/07/2017 14:25

They live in a completely different world to us, but deep down we all want the same things; someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for. Doesnt matter how much money you have we all want those things to be happy. And all considered I think having less money is more conducive to that happiness. Good luck to all of them and their kids. Just a different way of life.

Tofutti · 10/07/2017 14:33

2014newme

Maybe brush up your own reading and comprehension skills. You should have seen that OP already apologised.

UrsulaPandress · 10/07/2017 16:57

I don't think it has been made clear just who was invited.
