Three men laying a patio outside in your back garden in the heat. They are polite, reasonably priced, and doing a good job. On a three day job, it's day one at lunch time and they are each opening a bottle of beer to have with their lunch.

No, of course I wouldn't give a chauffeur a beer for lunch and not sure what the coke snorting teachers have to do with the subject.

It wouldn't bother me unless they were getting drunk.

There's a bloke at my dh's work who cracks open cans from about 11 onwards, drinks through the lunch service and is useless by the end of dinner service! Now I'd have a problem with that.

I often go for a beer at lunch with colleagues, or at least I did before I was pregnant. Wouldn't bother me at all.

My main issue on this thread is WillRikers. Why is this pain in the arse suddenly appearing everywhere as a contradictory force no one wants to bother with?
