To sleep with my earphones in?

Found a massive spider in the bedroom this morning and now I can't find it. Obviously.
Dp has had the mattress of the bed, everything has been turned upside down and it's nowhere to be seen.
The rational side of me is saying it's gone far, far away.
The other side says it's lurking ready to get you in the early hours, crawl in your ear and lay millions of eggs.
Is it reasonable to sleep in my thin onesie with my earphones in? Unsure if what to do about my nose Confused
It's huge. One of those jet black small body long massive legged ones, that run at a million miles per hour.
I know he's probably somewhere cosy and safe NOT IN THE BEDROOM but I can't help but feel his presence in here

Don't worry about the spider, he'll be outside, looking for washing on lines to rub his willy on.

Next door had their washing out about half hour ago! If it's still out I can sleep sweetly knowing he's outside rubbing his willie along their line instead of my bedsheets! Face!

I sleep with earphones in most nights. DP has sleep disorder so talks , yells, flails, twitches, and fucking snores. Old maudey here has RA and Fibro so I listen to all.sorts of Woo guided meditation .and hypnosis on YouTube. Puts me into a near coma, and the amitriptyline does the rest. I'd never worried about spiders, but think I will now Wink

Lol spiders are not remotely interested in something that wiggles and snores and breathes. But if you're that worried then go for it. Who cares? They don't want to go into any of your orifices.

Have you not got any ear plugs?
I don't like the thought of little plastic ear phones were the plastic bits can come loose .
I would just put cotton wool in .
