To ask about payments on the tax free childcare?

Posting for traffic sorry.

I've just tried to do a payment for the first time to my childminder on the tax free childcare account. I went through the process but now my account balance is still as it was before the payment and there is nothing listed when I click into transaction history. Does it normally take a few hours to update or should I be worried?

It takes a few working days to come through to the childcarer so possibly also takes a few days to leave your account?

OK thanks. I've seen some stories online of people being locked out of their accounts and I really could do without having to pay out twice.

Best thing is to ask your childminder. I get an email from the voucher company telling me that the payment has been requested by the parent and it will appear in my account in 2-3 working days. Ask her tomorrow is she's received the email.
