Aquamarine1029 · 04/07/2017 18:20

Who made it?

dippyeggs78 · 04/07/2017 18:21

My mum made it

Yuk!

OliviaTheFox · 04/07/2017 18:21

Yuck. Very wrong.

AlternativeTentacle · 04/07/2017 18:21

What the!!!

Mixing continents is not allowed in our house. That is wrong.

Phosphorus · 04/07/2017 18:21

Well, it won't kill you.

Will someone be upset if you refuse? Or are they short of cash, and doing the best they can?

It might be lovely Grin

IDefinitelyWould · 04/07/2017 18:21

I like curry with pasta occasionally! But then I like curry with anything and everything...

bigchris · 04/07/2017 18:22

Just ask for the curry without the pasta and dunk some crusty bread in it

Justhadmyhaircut · 04/07/2017 18:23

It wasn't your dm that shoved all sorts of left overs in a a curry a while back was it op?

Aquamarine1029 · 04/07/2017 18:23

Curry with rice isn't that much different than curry with pasta, but I would give it a try before you decide whether to eat it or not.

Is it a mild creamy one?

My parents often used to cook one with tagliatelle, I think there was some dish that was popular in the 70's.

DogPol · 04/07/2017 18:26

I'd eat it to be polite, but I'm pulling a face at the thought.
What shape pasta?

GreenHillsOfHome · 04/07/2017 18:26

Well it depends on if you like pasta surely. I've had curry with pasta...and in reverse I've had bolognaise with rice. Both seem a little odd but just as tasty.

dippyeggs78 · 04/07/2017 18:26

It was only a korma... I tried it and it was horrid!

OP posts:
Huldra · 04/07/2017 18:26

Thinking about it, I've seen the same dish in a couple of French restaurants.

Groupie123 · 04/07/2017 18:27

There are several authentic Indian dishes that are basically dals or curries with pasta - Dal dhokli, sev tameta, muthia (more of a dumpling) etc.

MrsMoastyToasty · 04/07/2017 18:28

That's fusion cookery (wanky hipster restaurateur types would probably charge £15 a portion)

Huldra · 04/07/2017 18:28

Ahh I'm not imagining it

dippyeggs78 · 04/07/2017 18:29

It was penne pasta.. does that make any difference? Haha

OP posts:
NotSoEagerBeaver · 04/07/2017 18:36

I always do curry and pasta! Rice is a bastard to get out of carpet. Am I had parent? Grin

NotSoEagerBeaver · 04/07/2017 18:37

Bad not had...

DogPol · 04/07/2017 18:42

Penne? Ooh no. I was hoping it would be noodley. Bows at a push.

Wickedstepmum67 · 04/07/2017 18:44

My DH has 'form' in this area: leftover Chinese takeaway lovingly blended with leftover pasta and bolognaise sauce. Yes, it was as grim as it sounds! He can cook, but sometimes overdoes the 'waste not, want not' thing. 😂

MrsFring · 04/07/2017 18:51

My mum used to serve curry surrounded by a ring of instant mash. She definitely wasn't a hipster though.
