👏👏👏

AcrossthePond55 · 04/07/2017 02:13

So my theory is that MNHQ isn't deleting because they don't believe fam, but because WORKzilla is a MNer and she's contacted them to say that she's recognized herself on this thread and feels it's too identifiable.

Let's see if I beat the deletion...3.....2.....1.... and hit enter!

I have to say that I am quite proud of that one, and it will be lost either by the thread being deleted or my comment. Remember it and think of me :o:o

TheMaddHugger · 04/07/2017 02:37

(((((((((((Hugs))))))))))) OP

KoalaDownUnder · 04/07/2017 02:44

Punjana yes, true! A strapping 6' 6" hunk of manliness, who also loves a good MN thread.

Don't forget a cracking sense of humour.

PringlesInTheFlySpace · 04/07/2017 03:16

I believe you fam, MNHQ are so wrong to delete this.
FWIW I once had a spectacularly timed vomit on a teachers shoe!

AllRoadsLeadBackToRadley · 04/07/2017 03:17

Fuck a moose!!!!!

I believe you, Fam. And I've forced encouraged DH to read all of these threads tonight. He's taken the piss out of loads by people who want driving here, there and everywhere, need things fixing, etc, etc. The latest is me sending out invites by text for a curry night (I'm cooking) and FOUR people pinging back with "what time will you pick me up?" Not just that, but they'll expect a ride back home at 2am too! He grew a pair tonight and texted "I'm having a drink on my wife's birthday, so people will have to dind their own transport".

Radio silence so far 😂

Thank you.

KoalaDownUnder · 04/07/2017 03:20

Oh, come on. People really believed this?!

(I didn't report it, btw, before anyone flames me - not invested enough to bother. But it was obviously made up.)

emmyrose2000 · 04/07/2017 03:22

Crazy!

OctopusesGarden · 04/07/2017 03:27

So a 6ft6 handsome metro DH means a troll? Better remember that if i need help! OPs other half actually sounds exactly like my dh.

Absolutely not place marking

Vereesa · 04/07/2017 03:29

Troll or not, this is still my favourite thread of the month day.

Whammy · 04/07/2017 03:41

TheWildOnes · 04/07/2017 04:26

Real or not, it's been amusing.

RebootYourEngine · 04/07/2017 05:24

I have only read the first thread so dont know if its been mentioned but how did the OP get the womans phone number. In one of the very first posts she said that she didnt have it because they see them at school everyday.

Dumdedumdedum · 04/07/2017 05:27

Move to Classics, fake or not? Great entertainment value, and given the number of responses with stories of similar entitled behaviour, is not stretching the bounds of beliefGrin

PotatoesAreDelicious · 04/07/2017 06:18

I believe you fam/user.

I am a SAHM and I have helped true friends out when they have been stuck for childcare, mainly inset days.

But I was at my friend's house who is also a SAHM (and softer than me) and a Mum who worked part time, working Mum went over to my friend's calendar on the wall, lifted the page to see the month of August and said "You've got nothing on week X so you can have my children then."

No will you help me out, just a you can have them. Same woman lost her regular childminder due to bad mouthing her so my friend stepped up and had her children as an emergency before and after school. Working Mum said she couldn't find another childminder.

I was approached by a childminder to tell me there were several childminders who had space and working Mum was taking the piss, she said she doesn't want to pay for childcare when she can get it for free.

I told working Mum directly as I knew my friend wouldn't push it herself, she is way too kind. So entitled people do exist, and will do this sort of thing.

Hopefully you can show MNHQ your text messages to back up your story.

ButtonMooooon · 04/07/2017 06:27

Well I've learnt something today. It seems both KR and Rihanna sang a song called WORK. Who knew? Clearly not me 😂. As you were 😶

There is also a song called work by The Saturdays. I am down wiv da kidz dontcha know Grin

doozeldog · 04/07/2017 06:32

Is there a link to the first thread please

TroysMammy · 04/07/2017 06:35

Surgeries may be open for those times but it doesn't mean all Receptionists work 50 hours plus a week. The money isn't that good to warrant a long commute either.

Sonnet · 04/07/2017 06:41

babsjonhson · 04/07/2017 06:47

Even if this one isn't real (the vomit Hmm) I believe that such people exist as I've seen it with my own eyes. I believe people are worse even. Someone was pissed off when my friend wouldn't have their toddler whilst they went on holiday getting pissed for two weeks.

Msqueen33 · 04/07/2017 06:50

I believe you Fam. The Sen board is also really handy. I have a seven and four year both with asd.

HicDraconis · 04/07/2017 06:52

Why does it matter? Why be so smug about it?

I recall a thread involving a premature baby. Much angst and drama, zapped for being a troll. Only it wasn't a troll - and someone who posted here for help and advice had a source of much needed support withdrawn. No doubt by people gleefully pointing the "told you so" finger.

I don't know if OP is genuine or not, none of us do. I do know there's nothing overt to indicate she isn't. I also think it would be better for ten made up threads to go undeleted rather than have such a trigger happy culture that a true thread is zapped and a poster kicked while she's down.

This thread is harmless. Nobody's offered cash, nobody's offered to mount a rescue mission, nobody's invested anything more than time and shared anecdotes.
