Ok so she sent me a few more messages about how they just assumed I knew what they needed and didn't think they needed to spell it out for me! Saying that they do not know how they are expected to pay for childcare that they hadn't budgeted for as they was relying on me to provide it. And I shouldn't of said I could help if I wasn't willing to do so.

I've not replied to any messages

She clearly thinks you have some superhuman mind reading power? You were supposed to just 'know' about all these arrangements? Maybe she thinks you sent a message through the power of thought agreeing to all these arrangements and that's why she's so shocked and perplexed now?
Silly OP you must have had your super power switch turned to 'off'
you must remember to keep it switched on incase Batshit Bertha needs a favour.

Lalalax3 · 03/07/2017 18:55

5 mins to go!

thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter · 03/07/2017 18:56

Just be glad you don't have a holiday home in Mexico either! Wink

AmserGwin · 03/07/2017 18:56

Blatant place mark. Cannot believe the cheek of this woman, I would tell her to piss off

bmbetu · 03/07/2017 18:56

Only commenting to stay tuned for updates. This woman is unbelievable!!! Well done OP

Bluntness100 · 03/07/2017 18:56

I don't think anyone will want to be her friend in case it happens to them,,,who the hell wants to provide free child care at 6.30 every morning in the hols?

livefornaps · 03/07/2017 18:56

I bet she posts really annoying memes on Facebook like "it takes a village to raise a child"

yummycake123 · 03/07/2017 18:57

Wow OP, just read your previous thread and the update. WTAF? How entitled is that bitch?! Good for you, stand your ground, No means NO.

NataliaOsipova · 03/07/2017 18:57

You should text back once more and say 'I don't know how much clearer I need to be, you made a very casual request for me to cover one Monday and you never followed that up with any definite confirmation, you left me to do that. How could you possibly think you had confirmed 6 weeks worth of free childcare with me?'

This. Absolutely. It's polite but it's clear.

errorofjudgement · 03/07/2017 18:57

Read both threads, shamelessly place marking

3 mins to 7, just saying.....

Roughlyroughrough · 03/07/2017 18:57

Thanks for the update.

LazyDailyMailJournos · 03/07/2017 18:57

Emily report away then. Very bad form to troll hunt on a thread.

honeyroar · 03/07/2017 18:57

Just ignore her and blocke her now. If she comes over to you at school ranting say very loudly and clearly

"Go away! Any more abuse from you and I will go to the headmaster and the police and pass on the screenshots of the abusive texts that you have sent me. I do not want any further form of contact with you, you are clearly no friend. Leave me alone!"

I kinda hope she does turn up just so the OP and her husband can confront her batshit cheek.

Bluntness100 · 03/07/2017 18:59

Me thinks Emily is jealous of the popular thread.

DAMNgina · 03/07/2017 18:59

JigglyTuff I think it works more often than not - they only way to deal is to not engage from the outset, which is quite tough for many reasons

  • females are often brought up to 'be nice' and are therefore more vulnerable to it, social convention, emotional manipulation and also people are not above using their very own children as a manipulation tactic.

So people like this, just keep on going until they find a victim, then that victim is kind of trapped.

SquinkiesRule · 03/07/2017 18:59

Five minutes to go till the knock on the door.

DoesHeWantToOrNot · 03/07/2017 18:59

Not placemarking at all.

THIS!!!

ClashCityRocker · 03/07/2017 18:59

Utter madness. I suspect she's gotten her own way like this in the past. Good on you op.

UpYouGo · 03/07/2017 19:00

Roll on the next instalment.

jcsp · 03/07/2017 19:00

7.00 now. All thinking of you. Hope it goes your way.

As teachers we were put upon once or twice but nothing at all like this.

It was just for odd days when other things had fallen through.

When we needed pre and after school care ( as we didn't work 9-3.15!) we paid our way.

AHedgehogCanNeverBeBuggered · 03/07/2017 19:00

^ definitely this.
