Ok so she sent me a few more messages about how they just assumed I knew what they needed and didn't think they needed to spell it out for me! Saying that they do not know how they are expected to pay for childcare that they hadn't budgeted for as they was relying on me to provide it. And I shouldn't of said I could help if I wasn't willing to do so.

I've not replied to any messages

If she sold her Iwatch she could afford childcare!

onlymyselftoanswerto · 03/07/2017 19:40

Goodness! Shock Shameless place-marking. Stay strong OP! She's totally batshit!

MrsHathaway · 03/07/2017 19:40

OP never actually agreed to anything, though. Even the few hours on one Monday was only speculative and she said she'd have a look.

The only thing WORKzilla should be coming round for is to apologise for her outbursts.

The whole thing is bizarre. Either they'll sit quietly on the sofa, in which case they can be on their own fucking sofa at home, or they need actual looking after, in which case they need booking in for actual childcare.

I don't think it's the cost (though no doubt eye watering) but that there aren't any professionals willing to cover those hours. It's rare for a cm to start before 7am and even rarer if they wouldn't be paid past 11am. Holiday sports clubs ime start at 9am and daycare at maybe 8am if you're lucky.

Zucker · 03/07/2017 19:40

Please god let her be a doctor's office receptionist. Mumsnet just LOVE them. #WORK Grin

KinkyAfro · 03/07/2017 19:40

How am i workzilla? Sounds like this could easily be stopped. OP isnt doing the childcare so she needs to tell her to fuck right off

FuckyDuck · 03/07/2017 19:40

Shameless placemarking for updates!

RortyCrankle · 03/07/2017 19:40

Would the police be lenient if an elderly woman (me) went round to WORKzilla's house and knocked some sense into her with my walking frame? If they read this thread I reckon I would leave court a free woman Grin

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 03/07/2017 19:40

I'm also intrigued by her WORK. Is she Batman or something? Not that Batman has any excuse for not organising proper childcare, but saving the city from villains is important and for everybody's benefit including yours. If she just does a regular job that thousands of other parents also manage to do without having a childcare crisis, and the job doesn't bring any particular benefit to you, then I will be disappointed. Unsurprised, but disappointed.

seven201 · 03/07/2017 19:41

She has an iwatch but can't afford childcare. I can't believe she is texting you a capital WORK so often. She is so fucking rude.

CherryChasingDotMuncher · 03/07/2017 19:41

I do wonder how badly behaved the 14yo is for him to need supervising on a sofa.

honeyroar · 03/07/2017 19:41

Tell her you blocked her because she's rude and aggressive and you don't want anything do with her anymore. Tell her to go back to WORK and ask for some EXTRA WORK so she can pay for childcare rather than wasting her time coming round as she will not be coming in.

TeenagersandFurbabies · 03/07/2017 19:42

Blatant placemarking Grin

redshoeblueshoe · 03/07/2017 19:42

I'm NOT placemarking at ALL Grin

CaveMum · 03/07/2017 19:42

Such a shame we can't post gifs on here, but currently I think this one sums up the mood of the thread Grin

Dr Cox is Mumsnet, backing up the OP (Jordan) while she rips Workzilla (JD) a new one Grin

famtastic · 03/07/2017 19:42

Juicy the thing is I probably would of helped her out, in fact I was going to. But this was just expected of me. And I don't really see why I should, especially now?

Softkitty2 · 03/07/2017 19:42

Like I said OP she hates you for not WORKING.

She is unbelievable. To be honest why would you want to be friends with this kind of person

AmserGwin · 03/07/2017 19:43

Who the fuck does she think she is? 6.30am? I wouldn't do that for my own family, never mind a random crazy

Fitzsimmons · 03/07/2017 19:44

Stand firm OP. She sounds unhinged.

AmserGwin · 03/07/2017 19:44

Don't give her an inch after she's been so bloody rude to you!

MrsHathaway · 03/07/2017 19:44

And I'm HOPPING at the idea that OP is "free" all holidays and "at home anyway" because clearly that's what WORKzilla thinks SAHPs do. I mean, I guess if you never let your 10- and 13yo do anything and they quietly sit on the sofa then yuh but doesn't she remember what it was like to have a toddler?!

I am SO glad you've booked to go to your mother's. Fucks her "free at home all day anyway" up the bum with a cactus.

BBQsAreSooooOverrated · 03/07/2017 19:44

Wow she's an entitled bitch isn't she?!

RudeDog · 03/07/2017 19:44

This is better than parking threads

I'm asking a friend to look after DD one day and I feel bad - and I will probably end up having hers 10 days!

If she doesn't come round my evenings ruined only joking....probably

Questioningeverything · 03/07/2017 19:45

Can I just say thank you to the op? We have a live thread. A real life live thread. Where the op actually keeps us updated as and when the batshit crazy happens. This almost never happens.
I need to charge my phone but I refuse til she's been round and I've had another update

TinselTwins · 03/07/2017 19:45

She's a receptionist ? the public facing role in someone's business?

littlelolo · 03/07/2017 19:45

I'd have to reply... you're right, I'm completely in the wrong. I will happily look after your darling children all summer
