Ok so she sent me a few more messages about how they just assumed I knew what they needed and didn't think they needed to spell it out for me! Saying that they do not know how they are expected to pay for childcare that they hadn't budgeted for as they was relying on me to provide it. And I shouldn't of said I could help if I wasn't willing to do so.

I've not replied to any messages

Maybe she moves around the country, chancing her arm until she's ostracised by the whole town and then moves on again.

I feel really sorry for the kids - they must be bloody mortified

Elephant17 · 03/07/2017 19:33

This had made me feel really shouty and fighty.

I'm actually at the stage of wanting to personally fight this woman, and I am a major confrontation wimp.

SomePeopleAreSoCheeky · 03/07/2017 19:33

Oh my fricking god! She is in her own bloody universe! Shock

ApocalypseNowt · 03/07/2017 19:33

On a side note I do like how everyone is shortening OP's name to "fam". It sounds like we're talking to each other like a group of vair vair cool teenagers... Grin

Catsize · 03/07/2017 19:33

This is where MN needs a facility to upload sneakily recorded footage...

Why does she need to compromise?

Chilver · 03/07/2017 19:34

You are acting entitled and delusional. You made an assumption that I would do your childcare, for free, for 6 weeks without even asking me my plans. I will not be doing any childcare for you, paid or otherwise. This is your fault, your mistake, your responsibiity to sort out. This is nothing to do with me. Stop blaming me for your own short comings regarding organisation -or as a parent- Stop contacting me.

Thats what I would respond with now. (Still amazed that even if this was agreed with the OP that anyone would think 6.30am is an ok time for childcare to start!!! We only -wake up- get up at around 7.45am!)

PainSnail · 03/07/2017 19:34

Is it terrible that I can't wait for her to go round? Stay strong OP!

DAMNgina · 03/07/2017 19:34

Irrelevant, but do we know just what her WORK! is?

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 03/07/2017 19:34

Just tell her to fuck off, that's the only language she'll understand.

ApocalypseNowt · 03/07/2017 19:34

Where does she WORK op? What JOB does she have?

I feel like we need to know this...

CremeFresh · 03/07/2017 19:34

Do you think she'll really arrive on your doorstep?

Chilver · 03/07/2017 19:34

oops, strike through fail or as a parent - i wouldn't actually say that to someone!!

FreakinScaryCaaw · 03/07/2017 19:35

Shock wow talk about entitled.

Really weird behaviour from mamzilla

onalongsabbatical · 03/07/2017 19:35

Just adopt her wretched offspring and have done with it! GrinGrinGrin

Zucker · 03/07/2017 19:35

Why would the OP compromise over the care of children she has no links to? She isn't a childminder. She isn't advertising childcare services. She is free to do what ever the hell she wants!

OP have you told your mutual friend yet about this afternoons shenanigans?

Mittens1969 · 03/07/2017 19:35

Her capitalising the word WORK would be enough to make me totally unwilling to compromise with her. Just plain rude.

watchingitallagain · 03/07/2017 19:35

At WORK being PAID!

thatdearoctopus · 03/07/2017 19:35

What compromise do you suggest, Juicy?

And why, exactly, do you feel the OP needs to move from her position at all?

Nocabbageinmyeye · 03/07/2017 19:36

Juicy that's bullshit as well you know. If it was a misunderstanding she would have been horrified and apologetic from text one but she hasn't, she is a cheeky bitch and no would I compromise. Compromise now and she will do this all the time, this woman has zero morals when it comes to friendship

WhatwouldOliviaPopedo · 03/07/2017 19:36

She seriously believes that because she goes to WORK and you're at home, her situation trumps yours and therefore you shouldn't dare argue against taking her kids for the summer. THE WOMAN IS BATSHIT CRAZY.

aaaaargghhhhelpme · 03/07/2017 19:36

What WORK does she do?!
I'm intrigued! I wish my work was so important it was in capitals...

JustDontGetItAtAll · 03/07/2017 19:36

Please make sure your husband answers the door and is EXCEPTIONALLY patronising!! X

Goingtobeawesome · 03/07/2017 19:36

The mind boggles about what is going on in her head.
