It's not funny or clever or ironic, it's lazy and annoying.

If you are with me please post a Biscuit in solidarity.

Can't think of any point in my life where I've been to the point of shaking with anger, least of all from reading something on a forum
Nor me Percy. I've found MN an eye-opener as far as other people's emotions go

MN is full of arseholes so it's probably appropriate
Grin
I have to say, much as I love MN, it's so full of over emotional, over excitable, hysterical banshees that at times I question whether I'm actually a woman as I simpy can't relate to the insanity half the time. Where 1 word out of place means you get a kicking for the next 10 pages. Nowhere else have I so frequently had the urge to scream "calm the fuck down dear!" (and I hate that phrase!) But then I go on YouTube or Facebook and see that it's people in general I think are arseholes not just MNers, and all's right in the world again.

I once posted an AIBU and it was completely detailed for 10+ pages because a phrase we use in my part of the world isn't used many other places and can sound quite rude. It was as if I had written a porno!

HotSteppa · 03/07/2017 22:13

I too thought it was a nipple and that it's use was as in - your being a tit.

I over use Smile not very mumsnet as I use it without an once of irony. Personally find " Have Wine and Wine and Flowers" a bit twee and patronising Hmm

HotSteppa · 03/07/2017 22:14

Oh dear massive emoji fail

Bear BiscuitBiscuit Star

I first thought the Biscuit was a boob. Mumsnet was obsessed with breastfeeding when I joined and I thought it was the natural next step.

PayingMyWayYouSay · 03/07/2017 22:19

So what does the biscuit thing actually mean?

What does it mean when someone replies to your post with one? Blush

Pumperthepumper · 03/07/2017 22:21

I also think we should get rid of '...much?' (I.e. 'exaggerate much?' because it's SO SHIT) and FOTTFSOF... (same reason).

And the posters who write over-formal letters/responses to solve the op's problem.

I hate that stupid biscuit, so twee and pissy and annoying

SistersOfPercy · 03/07/2017 23:01

Molly three biscuits? THREE!?
Are you one of those weirdos that shares these 'share bags' of chocolate because nobody eats just three Grin
