I'm on a family holiday in a Mediterranean resort and guess who else is staying here?

I'm sorely tempted to go up and tell her what a horrible, hate filled, divisive person she is and that most educated and intelligent people in the country despise what she stands for.

I agree with what you are saying re
I feel no solidarity with her just because we are both women . She doesn't exactly show sympathy for other women who are fleeing war or whose dead children are washed up on on beaches. She attacks poor and unemployed women because they are obese. She shames women who put on weight during pregnancy
She is a nasty piece of work, but i don't think there's anything you can do on holiday.

I'm sure you are right. But that's the problem isn't it ? People who hate others because of their hair colour or body size or facial tattoos or name.

The Bigots of the UK don't really needs a spokesperson.

Don't you think our country needs more understanding of difference, not more hatred ?

You know what? You have a point. That's why she's so dangerous. She 'speaks' for those who get ignored, as you are allowed an alternative point of view when it comes to politics.
Of course you are. I was always of the viewpoint that she was alright, she was just putting the alternative viewpoint across, "says it like it is."
Then she came out with that tweet about needing a final solution, and I don't care WHAT people say, given her previous form she knew exactly what she meant.
There's no way she couldn't. Why else would she have deleted it if she didn't realise she actually had gone too far?
How is what she's doing, spreading her hate, any different from what extremists are doing from "their" side towards us?!
It's all inciting racial hatred. Why is it any better when it's coming from us? Stop it all.

Trump was dismissed as the looney minority voice - look what happened there. Yes, some people do think like her. Let's keep an eye open for it and not hope it's just the looney minority.

Why is it sanctimonious to feel the urge to call out someone who is paid for writing bileous comments? She writes to create outrage, that is the second purpose of her 'work'.

She's not an agony aunt, she is a professional agitator who writes some pretty cruel, offensive, racist, snotty comments. And that's just the 'nice' stuff. I can't think of many groups of people she hasn't offended multiples times. It serves no purpose - has she lobbied to change any laws? Highlighted some injustice and tried to use her pulpit to address it? Raisrfmoney for a cinderella disease or charity? No, she has called refugees cockroaches and suggested genocide for Muslims, etc.

Noone has actually said seriously that they would shove her in the pool, yell at her or spit in her dinner.

BTW Katie if you are reading, nice top you had on last night ( although a bit OTT for the venue ) but it didn't work with those trousers. You need a plain bottom half. HTH

I don't agree with body shaming other women or being mean about their appearance, whoever they are. I've taken issue with others for doing this with Theresa May and I'm no fan of hers either.

But let's be honest, there's more than enough material to take issue with on the ugly inside of KH. Let's stick to her vile, nasty, ugly comments and attempts to legitimise racism and bigotry rather than her appearance.

To those of you defending her, I can only assume you are in fact her or one of her few remaining friends. As for her apparently saying what other people are thinking, this is the very reason I question every day the kind of country this has again become where many can sympathise with KH and her kind.

Funniest I saw was on tv a few years ago. She was talking horribly and mockingly about the 'chavvy' names some girls give to their children...someone merely said, after giving her 'the look' "and then 'they' start giving them names of countries!" it was a comedian who had replied to her and he went off on a v.funny expansion on the theme

Proper shut her up, she didn't like it one bit,and, btw, Hopoff, how is your daughter India these days?

To be fair, she is a person, making an exceptionally healthy income spouting off for the media. Yes we might not all she with everything (or anything) she says but surely as an individual she is making hay while the sun shines and making the most of the opportunities she is being provided with by the UK press. Selfish? Yes but given the chance and the pay cheques on offer I'd probably do the same... better off targeting those who pay her and provide the platform to mouth off than her as an individual... we all have opinions that are offensive to others, she just has the opportunity to air them to the nation en masse...

If you put your children into prostitution, you might make good money. Would that make it ok ?

Would it be moral for your husband to shag every woman in the office if he got paid for it ?

Is there really no such thing as right or wrong ? Is the only arbiter of morality how much you get paid for it ?

Stupid gullible people listen to her mouthing off and act it out. They think it's ok to abuse someone in the street for being fat or having tattoos. Or to block their chances of promotion at work if they are their supervisor.

They think " yeah, them bastard immigrants are stealing out jobs and our women, I'll kick the shit out of one in a dark alley " .

They believe that all Muslim police officers are trying to impose sharia law.

But that's all ok is it because, you know, she earns money for it.

You might think you are smart and know it's all just for a larf and the dosh. But not everyone does.

Nah ,still can't get worked up about her .
You are crediting her with an awful lot of power ,as if we are all hanging on to her every word .
I'm sure that most people who disagree with what she says, don't think about it for more than a few minutes ,then get on with their lives .
She is one person ,one set of opinions .
If you don't like or agree with her ,don't read her column,or twitter posts .
She is easy to avoid .
