Went to Wickes today to look for Sandtex, saw this poster outside, thought great! Went inside, Sandtex not on 3 for 2, asked staff and they said it's not garden and landscaping so obviously not included in the offer, the manager agreed. I messaged Wickes via FB and they said the managers decision is final.
Do I need to just let this go and stop plotting the demise of Wickes, and wishing evil things upon them? Thing is, if they honoured the deal I'd save £40, which is loads.

They are terrible at deals. I'm in there a lot with work, and at least 50% of the time they'll try to weasel out of their advertised prices. I now take photos of all the price tags as I go...

Thanks both, I think I will report, more because of their weasely attitude than anything. I might stand outside their shop giving out Screwfix catalogues tomorrow

It clearly doesn't say 50% off anything! But there is Sandler in the 3 for 2 picture - right at the front making it VERY clear!

Yes it was the masonry I wanted. It could come under landscape and gardening, I've painted garden walls with Sandtex before now. More about the point that there is a bloody huge tin of Sandtex on there, giving the impression that it's 3 for 2. Thought they'd honour it as a goodwill gesture if nothing else. Shisters!
