Silly me made the faux pas of going up to the bar and ordering it after my husband asked me to order a "wifebeater" for him. I thought it was actually called "wifebeater" - where I'm from that's a slang name for a vest top so didn't seem weird to me..

The guy at the bar couldn't believe what he was hearing and fell about laughing at me!

Seemed to be (at the time) the drink of choice by men who lined to indulge in football hooliganism too.

It's a strong beer and fairly cheap I think. When consumed in vast quantities makes some people react in less than positive ways.
