To think 112.54 for bog standard tickets to see the zoella (YouTuber) show at the nec is ridiculous

Ive tentatively agreed to take DD there, but wasn't expecting it to be so much just to see a few talentless YouTubers on stage - basically zoella, her brother and her boyfriend.

We've gone to the food show there for 19 pounds last year for both of us and got loads of free stuff and loads of talks by properly famous people. This show doubt there will be anything free and they will be flogging their overpriced t shirts (14 quid for a cheap t shirt with a logo on!)

It's extortionate right? Under 14s need an adult with them

yes. No way would i agree to this I'm afraid.
FFS it's aimed at teenagers. greedy bastards

ClarkWGriswold · 29/06/2017 13:27

Christ no! What's she going to be doing? Showing the teenagers her 'haul' from Primark that day. Please!

DownUdderer · 29/06/2017 13:28

Wtf is she going to do on stage? Agh! What a rip off! You could have a weekend away somewhere cheap instead!

SerfTerf · 29/06/2017 13:31

I wouldn't pay it, but then I probably wouldn't take my DC to see YouTubers at all.

OneFlewOverTheDodosNest · 29/06/2017 13:33

Is the price £56 each but because under 14s need an adult it's 2 tickets as standard? It's still outrageous but slightly less so.

Surely you'd rather have cheaper tickets and
a) Have a greater possibility of selling out and
b) Feel good that you haven't ripped off young teenage fans

ElspethFlashman · 29/06/2017 13:33

My idea of hell.

brexitstolemyfuture · 29/06/2017 13:36

Greedy was exactly what I thought, zoella must have enough money from flogging overpriced shower jel in superdrug without needing to do this.

She is going to do something "once in a lifetime extravaganza" apparently, two days in a row Hmm maybe doing an ASOS and primark haul together ...

Christ. Youtubers making actual million pound fortunes by waffling on and fannying about on YouTube is one of the planet's way of letting me know I'm definitely no longer part of da yoof.

What the fuck will she actually be doing on stage to justify these prices?!

Hont1986 · 29/06/2017 13:49

I heard she's going to eat a dozen eggs, and then 'lay' them, unbroken. I'd pay £50 to see that.

ElspethFlashman · 29/06/2017 13:52

I heard she's going to perform an ancient incantation to summon Cthulhu from his ghastly slumber. Grin

Yes for two. I think they know they have a limited time to extract every penny they can, and they are!
