to let DS have a McDonald's each week?

DS is a swimmer and swims with a squad that's 45 mins away. He starts training at 6:30 and comes out at 8 (pm btw) and it's very convenient for this day. He is healthy and slim and on all the other days has a good, balanced diet.

Is this seriously so bad? Shock

BlueInk thats a nice cut and paste job but you haven't said what is wrong with any of that. It's all perfectly normal ingredients in food.
Did some of the big words confuse you?

I wouldn't blame her either, she knows what everyone thinks about the issue now. I agree with you about the ingredients, there was nothing shocking about them at all. It's termed 'junk' after all, people go there for convenience not for the quality of the food after all.

Some people live on the streets & eat out of bins... don't worry it's fine.

Ohmyfuck · 04/07/2017 22:52

Fine.

Did you know that McDonalds sells that dreadful dihydrogen monoxide drink... awful place along with their 100% beef patty what are they thinking

Although I must say I eat there each week too -

user1489675144 · 11/07/2017 21:13

Dihydrogen monoxide drink is particularly dangerous - it is also known as hydroxyl acid, and is the major component of acid rain.
contributes to the "greenhouse effect".
may cause severe burns.
contributes to the erosion of our natural landscape.
accelerates corrosion and rusting of many metals.
may cause electrical failures and decreased effectiveness of automobile brakes.
has been found in excised tumors of terminal cancer patients.
Despite the danger, dihydrogen monoxide is often used:
as an industrial solvent and coolant.
in nuclear power plants.
in the production of styrofoam.
as a fire retardant.
in many forms of cruel animal research.
in the distribution of pesticides. Even after washing, produce remains contaminated by this chemical.
as an additive in certain "junk-foods" and other food products.

Floggingmolly · 11/07/2017 21:26

And yet there are no recorded instances of people getting chemical burns from having a drink in McDonalds. I wonder why? The danger would appear to be acute...
