DS is a swimmer and swims with a squad that's 45 mins away. He starts training at 6:30 and comes out at 8 (pm btw) and it's very convenient for this day. He is healthy and slim and on all the other days has a good, balanced diet.

Is this seriously so bad? Shock

coconuttella · 01/07/2017 23:45

Why are you capitalising "wheat".... it's not poison!

Blueink · 01/07/2017 23:53

McDonalds UK is my "source", they capitalised wheat - not me

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 01/07/2017 23:57

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 01/07/2017 23:59

Blueink · 02/07/2017 00:12

Go away what to do about this. Yes 'you' obviously work for McDonalds but 'you' are not being transparent as to what capacity. So obvious. Must think we were born yesterday

Blueink · 02/07/2017 00:15

Thought this might put you and it has

Blueink · 02/07/2017 00:15

PickAChew · 02/07/2017 00:16

Struggling to see what really makes that can unhappy meal, unless it's the long words for every day ingredients.

Blueink · 02/07/2017 00:17

Quick name change then or use another alias?!

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 02/07/2017 00:19

PickAChew · 02/07/2017 00:19

I work for McDonalds as a Crew Member; I've not even worked there half a year yet.

MusicForTheJiltedGeneration · 02/07/2017 00:23

Why are you capitalising "wheat".... it's not poison!

No, but it's a common allergen, hence being in capital letters so it stands out easily for people checking it. You will find allergen ingredients in bold on food labels for the same reason. Surely you knows that if you work in the food industry?

Mittens1969 · 02/07/2017 00:23

What does crew member mean? Somebody who serves food to the public?

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 02/07/2017 00:27

A crew member is someone who either works on front counter taking orders and serving food or who works in the kitchen cooking the food. Or someone who works on drive-thru if you have one.

The customer care team who work on lobby are also technically crew members though.

Tyical McDonalds store hierarchy:
Business Manager > 1st Assistant > 2nd Assistant > Shift Manager > Crew Trainer > Crew Member.

Mittens1969 · 02/07/2017 00:36

Thanks, I will say that everything works like clockwork at McDonalds, very efficient.

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 02/07/2017 00:41

No worries Smile Yeah, we have very strict procedures to do with absolutely everything.

And what a lot of people don't know is actually how much studying you have to do as an employee there! There are several workbooks you have to fill out and then exams to take to get your stars, and that's just as your average crew member.

People look down on us and think we're uneducated for working there but it's just not the case. I love my job and I enjoy going to work. I have wonderful colleagues and great managers, and it's always busy so you're never bored.

We haven't heard from the OP for a long time, has she hidden the thread?

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 02/07/2017 10:42

I wouldn't blame her if she had.
