My workplace is taking part in a charity event at the weekend ,
This year our team fancy dress is 101 Dalmatians.
I have a Westie who likes to think he's a 'big dog'.

WIBU to give him a bit of a makeover for the day by giving him (using black hairspray) some Dalmatian spots ?

Personally I think he'd look rather cool.
DP thinks the neighbours will be phoning the RSPCA and reporting us for emotional abuse .
Ddog appears to be asleep so I can't ask him.
I will leave it up to the mnet jury to have the final vote.

Not sure about black hairspray....however have seen people do ponies around here with natural homemade colouring. I'm sure you can get special animal stuff. Shall have a Google.

Yes if you put dog hair dye into amazon lots come up. Who knew! Will message my friend and see what she used for kids pony fancy dress. I'm sure she made it.

Just watch his skin. As you undoubtedly know, Westies are prone to skin problems and you wouldn't want anything to set him off. My westie currently thinks he's a boxer dog, having been on walkies with two!

I hadn't thought of looking on amazon as it hadn't occurred to me that there would be such a thing as actual doggy dye.

Ookmybanana Fortunately he's never shown any signs of skin problems in 12 years but I'll definitely give him a 'patch test' first

Yes you will if you use black hair spray Hmm

I sprayed white spots on my black Lab many years ago so she looked like a negative Dalmatian. It took a surprisingly long time to brush/wash out, so don't be surprised if black takes even longer on a white dog.

I don't see any issue with it myself.
