To be mildly hurt that I've either been mistaken for another poster or do be considered such a tool I don't even have to post on a thread to piss people off

I was looking for an older thread so did a vanity search with a couple of key words and found my name mentioned on a thread I hadn't even posted on!Shock

Being large of ego I had a nosey. And they were saying I was overly dramatic (which is true but not the point) and a bit off and told to get help.

I never even posted on the bloody thread. I can't find anyone with a similar name to me on there Confused

My character has been impuned, maligned etc etc

I'm actually upsetting people even when I'm not on bloody Mumsnet. Do I piss you all of that much?

My dachs is a standard, not a mini, and not scary. (His predecessor otoh delighted in scaring larger dogs.).

He can take up an unfeasibly large amount of a bed if he stretches across it, or completely disappear disguised as a wrinkle in the cover.

TheFirstMrsDV · 27/06/2017 23:50

I sort of bend around the bits they leave for me.

ShmoozernameUsername · 27/06/2017 23:50

Marking place as some old familiar names on here make me feel all warm and fuzzy StarGinSmile

Does anyone remember Chaos's missing toaster? That was the first thread I really got stuck into. I ended up leading a zombie raid on HQ & when I emailed them to apologise for the mess, they told me to start a thread in Housekeeping on how to get zombie flesh out of carpets.

TheySayIamparanoid · 27/06/2017 23:57

So how do you find a hidden topic??

Gin cheers Zombie

I used to share a house with a mini dachs.

Lovely boy. Unless you got between him & something he considered edible.

Ratbagcatbag · 28/06/2017 00:06

Loving this thread. Frequent lurker, and vague poster. Haven't name changed in years as can't remember password (it's stored in my phone so I remain logged on).

Maryz - I spent eons reading your teenage threads when my DSS was being awful. They helped.

BoreOfWhabylon · 28/06/2017 00:09

Maryz !

And about time too! People were worried.

Don't do it again.

But... somewhere up there^^ someone said OliviaMN has left?!? Shock Sad

EmpressOfTheSpartacusOceans · 28/06/2017 00:12

I'm going to start a thread in Site Stuff to check.

He has a very expressive little face. As does his brother. Possibly a mistake to name cats after genius pioneers of art form if you don't want them coming up with genius ideas of their own though. We have to keep the fridge locked. Cupboards were mastered in v early kittenhood, but the fridge, that was quite the surprise...
When I got The House Liger he was pure blond - the colour of the fur on his tummy - and he slowly grew his strawberry blond stripes. He'd two bright marmalade litter-mates & 3 pure black ones, one of whom resides with us...
I weigh a smidge over 45kg & have wonky joints + dubious core stability. Were I to to be bounced by your Noblest Of Hounds I suspect her weight advantage would see the pair of us reeling.

My poor cats... I have accidentally sullied their reputation. To be fair chewing packaging is a manky habit that drives me to distraction & I should not, even in jest, have considered trying to harness it for my own ends (because clearly my cats are kicking about MN somewhere & will use it to justify their plastic-chomping antics? Hmm ) - but they've never actually chewed one of my leos... snuffled at them suspiciously & scent-marked yes; shredded with their Fearsome Fangs, mercifully no...
Your Guide dog puppies are adorable. The cute levels on this thread keep rising in a v pleasing fashion.
Tiny dogs can be the scariest: it's like how they bark the most, the inverse proportion to size Dingsbums...

TheFirstMrsDV
Hurrah! More cute! Life MN Life on MN should have more of people's pets. Possibly just at random. A gorilla movement instead of a guerrilla one. Though probably nobody has a gorilla. Not a personal one, anyway, there might be a zookeeper kicking about...

Empress
The missing toaster = incredibly funny. Admittedly probably not so much for Chaos as it unfolded & she thought she was going doolally tap...

Ekphrasis
Somehow I failed to thank you for your kind gifts earlier. How v rude of me, sorry Blush

Waaaaaa I thought Honey had managed to break something and send us back in time but no, it really really is Maryz SmileSmile** what a beautiful thing this thread has become!
Welcome back lambchop, I for one have missed your witterings sage wisdom.

HoneyDragon · 28/06/2017 07:02

Hullygullypuppy's best mate is what they they thought was a Wolfhound/Lurcher/something hairy.

Till he got to five months. Then the vet said I think he's Deerhound/something hairy. He really is massive Grin but of a surprise for his owner though.

Did I miss the buffet?

Ohhhh and look dogs and cats!

I'm never having an early night again

HoneyDragon · 28/06/2017 07:10

That's a downward mnet spiral that is. When you fail to go to bed a school night because you're chatting bollocks till 2am Grin

Quite possibly my fault.

On the topic of cats & exercise kit.

I think the reasoning was that if she sat on my running things I'd stay at home and cuddle her.

When I went to bed last night it was still light!

So I am reading this thread in the morning instead of going to work.
Oh dear. I'm going to be late.

Your dog looks so happy in that picture, it's lovely 😍

There is a reason that as well as the more usual theraband, foot-roller, toe-tape, shoes, deodorant, face-wipes, deep-freeze gel etc my ballet bag has a wee lint roller in it...
It's not so bad when they just sit on my clothes to try to stop me from leaving. Hiding my watch/keys/Freedom Pass is a bit more of an issue... However, how you could leave that adorable little pleading!face...

DonkeyOaty · 28/06/2017 09:13

I agree with bran.

Jolly good to have winkled Maryz out, neat work honey.

Cool.

Soubriquet · 28/06/2017 09:20

Well now I can't not show my pets and temporary foster

Tootsie the cat

"You know, Honey, I haven't seen OliviaMN for AAAAAAAAGES.

Nor JustineMN.

And RowanMN is busy on other stuff nowadays."

JustineMN and RowanMN were definitely both with us over on this thread, on the 18th.
Along with IonaMN, RebeccaMN, DawnMN, CarolineMN, ClaraMN...
A veritable of MNHQ bods.

Was fun: great time had by all.
