My partner has just got a job in Leicester, we'll be moving there from London in a couple of months. I'm currently on mat leave (baby 5 mths old). I'm excited because I hate living in bloody London, but one thing it does have is loads of stuff for mums and small babies, much of it free and laid on by the council (swimming group, rhyme time, baby massage, sensory play etc). I know most councils and nurseries lay on stay and plays, but they always seem aimed at older children who can walk or crawl.
What are your best things to do with your little one in Leicester? And is it easy to make friends with other mums?
