To think that the perfect bra doesn't exist?

Even when I find a bra that fits how it's apparently supposed to and feels fairly comfortable, it doesn't put my boobs where I want them to be. Is it abnormal to want them hoiked up somewhere around my neck? Even if I find a bra that seems to provide the correct level of support, it feels like my boobs are being supported too far down my body for my liking. Do I just have unrealistic bra expectations?

Click desktop version (at the bottom) then on the left top there's drop down boxes for size

What infuriates me is that I have found a bra that fits perfectly, is comfortably shaped, nice style, good support etc. i've been buying exactly the same bra for about 10 years now.

And the bastards have started putting itchy plasticcy stitches around the edges

THanks Ollivander.

I think I'll take the plunge and try a few. Was a bit confused by their measuring guide, so if I can ignore that I can go ahead.

I've been half thinking about trying my own hand at designing the kind of bra I want for years. I am a 32dd-32E depending on bra make and nothing really does the job. I want a bra that has support but minimizes and has at least 3 hooks on the back, also I apparently have a short distance between my boobs and my shoulders because most bras have straps that can't be adjusted to a short enough length.

Ultimately I suppose I really just want smaller boobs and no bra can help with that!

Buying a large bra can feel like a trade-off between comfort and a pretty design. To ensure you are wearing a correctly sized bra, it is a good idea to be measured in store at least once a year. Contraception, pregnancy and the menopause can all affect breast size. When trying on a bra, make sure the wires at the side of the breast are flat on the rib cage - not digging into the breast - and that the wires at the front lie flat on the sternum with no gaps.

You will know you have a good fitting bra when you can lift your arms, the bra stays perfectly in place and it feels like you can forget you are wearing it.

They won't even measure me because of my psoriasis.

Can't wait to have a flat chest!
