I've no idea where they are. They could have gone with the any old iron man or are in the house. But, I just wish he would fuck off out of my life. He expected his children, two of which are adults to take care of it. AIBU to think, fuck off! He had a chance to get them when he left. He's with a new partner and has twins.

Tell him if he wants them, he's welcome to find himself a DeLorean and get it up to 88 miles an hour, back to when it might have been possible.

Cor what next, the potato peeler you got as a wedding present from Great Aunty Mabel. The CDs, even if you have them in pride of place in your living room are no longer his. Nor was the vinyl. So he shouldn't have asked the children to take them (theft) or ask you for them (manipulation).

Your washing the front door was the clue to why this upset you so much. This man is out of your life but you are not free of him. These requests feel like he is stepping in again when there is no need.

I think any other requests from kids..Long since gone..Then move on.
