AIBU to be upset about outcome of laser treatment?

Hello ladies,

I had laser treatment for spiderviens 25 days ago and I'm really unhappy. 2 weeks after the treatment I noticed a red indentation so I emailed the therapist and she said it needed to heal, I emailed again a few days later and she said the same thing. Last week she asked for photos which I sent and she it looks fine, just healing.

I asked for copies of the photos she took before the treatment and I can really see a difference....for the worse. She did a comparison of photos, but used the photo I sent wearing makeup to show the indentation so it doesn't look to bad.

Does anybody have experience of laser treatment? Will the indentation heal, she won't answer my question when I ask. I'm away with work at the moment so can't physically go and see her.

This first photo is before the treatment and the second is how it looks tonight.

My DH says he can't see it, but that's men for you.

Thanks

Did she say what caused that indentation? What type of laser did you have done? I can actually see an improvement in your skin, if that makes you feel any better

Has she given you a time frame regarding when it should be fully healed? The indent could just be a stage of healing.

It was a Diode laser, she said it could take a month. Am I just panicking....maybe that should be my AIBU 😁

Every time I mention the indentation she just says it needs to heal. I hate getting old and being vain, I should have just left it alone.

not sure whats supposed to happen but I seem to see a new spider vein on second pic? op I want this done too - how much did it cost?

Guavaf1sh · 19/06/2017 22:28

I think it looks fine. Don't panic. Honestly. You look great

It was £100 for a small area. I previously tried IPL but it hurt so much it made me cry and didn't work!!
I know I need to give it more time to heal, but I'm so impatient.

This should heal, it looks like where the vein has absorbed into the epidermis has left the small indentation. Continue to seek advice form the practitioner who performed this. When removing veins they are heated to above 50 degrees! Be gentle with the area, use a repair balm like teoxane. It could well be healing still. Good luck

Your skin looks a million times better. I can't see a problem at all.
