If I sit in the garden in my t shirt and knickers!

Only joking but I'm sat here in my jeans and t shirt and dying to take my jeans off. Can't be bothered to put new clothes on!

That's when you need boxer shorts instead - sitting in my underwear? No, I'm wearing shorts Grin

Creatureofthenight · 18/06/2017 18:15

I've just been to get the washing in wearing vest and knickers- though I'm very pregnant and the knickers are very big!

2014newme · 18/06/2017 18:15

Swimsuit here

myusernameisnotmyusername · 18/06/2017 18:18

Ha ha I love the replies. Ndn had her bikini on this morning. For some reason that feels different! She caught me yesterday morning hanging out the washing in my pyjamas with bed head!

Why wouldn't you? Are you very overlooked? Jeans in this heat is madness, and I'm in Scotland. Currently on my lounger in bra and pants.

myusernameisnotmyusername · 18/06/2017 18:24

Well I'm in a terraced but only overlooked on our row iyswim. No opposite houses high up enough. I think the neighbours could see me out of their windows. Sod it they're coming off!

I've been in the paddling pool in my bikini all day, its bloody roasting! I'm a size 20 and overlooked, sod the neighbours they shouldn't look if they don't want an eyeful!

Pinkheart5912 · 18/06/2017 18:27

I have worn a bikini all day, although I have no neighbours. I don't see how a tshirt & knickers is any different, go for it....

Teatowelfairy · 18/06/2017 18:28

DM's NDN quite often sits out in her bra. I guess it's the same as wearing a bikini. Wish I was brave enough.

Previous NDN used to go topless. I like to think she was making the most of the good weather. However she had 3 teenage sons and as soon as the sun was out she'd invite her friends round to join her. Shock

Supersoaryflappypigeon · 18/06/2017 18:29

I'm in a vest top and DH's boxers Grin

SelfObsessionHoney · 18/06/2017 18:30

I'm currently prowling the hospital gardens in pj shorts and a vest top in a desperate attempt to get my labour going.
People near me should just consider themselves lucky I decided to put a bra on 😂

HighwayDragon1 · 18/06/2017 18:33

I was just in my knickers earlier. Terrace house. Railway behind. Fuck what anyone else thinks.

reallybadidea · 18/06/2017 18:39

I drove home from work in my t-shirt and knickers yesterday. When I got home I had a few seconds indecision over whether to struggle back into my shorts before getting out of the car. In the end I just decided to make a run for the front door, which fortunately was unlocked!

Andylion · 18/06/2017 18:40

What's the temp?

myusernameisnotmyusername · 18/06/2017 18:41

Brilliant replies! Made me laugh. God it must be so uncomfortable being at the end of a pregnancy in this heat! It's 28 here. I'm in Birmingham.

Best top and dp boxers, with a huge glass of wine Smile

mortificado · 18/06/2017 18:52

*vest top!
The wine has clearly ruined my typing skills

myusernameisnotmyusername · 18/06/2017 18:52

The wine is out! I seriously do not want to go in the office tomorrow! It will be stifling in there.

Ha ha. I knew what you meant? Can you get sent home from work if it's too hot Wink

OP posts:
Soubriquet · 18/06/2017 18:56

I do it

T-shirt cos I don't have a bra (but I strip off if I get wet before coming in) and just a pair of knickers.

It's my garden..if people don't want to see, don't look

Soubriquet · 18/06/2017 18:58

Ha ha. I knew what you meant? Can you get sent home from work if it's too hot

Nope. There's no legal limit for heat. There is for cold though.

Used to work at a store who had no air conditioning and no windows

It was hotter in there than I was outside in the middle of the sun

Hated it..and the big bosses refused to do anything because they didn't have to.

Regularly had customers passing out in there

SecretNutellaFix · 18/06/2017 19:39

I am working in a store that's currently like Soubriquet describes. The difference is that our engineer is coming to fix our air conditioning this week and managers have been writing off cases of water and putting them in the back up fridges to chill them for us. Plus we're allowed to take 5 minutes when we need it in addition to our full regular breaks- today the upstairs part of of the shop (which is my domain) reached about 34 degrees.
If I could have stripped my clothes off and worked in my bra and pants I would have, it was that horrible today, so there's no reason someone at home can't lounge around in their underwear.

ihatetosay · 18/06/2017 19:42

sat in the garden with nothing on except sun tan lotion -

myusernameisnotmyusername · 18/06/2017 19:49

We have no air con although the floors where the directors work does. And we have to take in our own water unless we want the tap water or to pay 20p a cup of filtered water! Our bottles of water go hot on the desk...
