Because it seems reasonable to me.
No one will actually help of course but I might feel better causing a scene for the sake of it and eating a few thousand calories of chocolate right?

We were robbed three times last month, twice at our office of the business we own and once totally unrelated when someone used a cloned card and empties our bank account.

I had to feed 8 people for a month on £100 until the insurance paid out .

My doctor took me off fluoxetine.

My dd had her speech therapy assessment which was stressful.

I ended up in hospital after collapsing

I have been having some kind of long term low level panic attack for the last 2 hours.

It's either go back to my old ways of self harm or the Nutella screaming thing.

So aibu? I have a 750g jar of Nutella if that helps.Smile

Nutella sounds like an acceptable self prescription at this time. .

Ah, Flowers op, what a shitty time! If the nutella will help, go for it. Do you want to talk about it, would that help with the panic attack at least? Do you have anyone with you?

MelaniaMacron · 16/06/2017 19:34

I've stuffed myself with jarfulls of Nutella as a way to stop myself from SH-ing, and yeah it kind of works... but the comedowm from the sugar is a bit like waking up with a hangover. You sound in a crap place. Might the Samaritans be more help?

I'm adding strawberries to my Nutella - that's fruit so must make the whole thing healthy

I have 6 children with me although they are either in bed or unresponsive teenagers/ preteens Grin

I have been very very anxious the last week or two which culminated in collapsing and being hospitalised with my heart at 150bpm. Blush

I have tablets to slow it down now . No idea if that's worked.

I think it was a really bad time to come of flouxitene !

Flowers but really Gin seems more appropriate. What a shit time you've had, OP. YANBU. Do whatever makes you feel better as long as it's legal!

Nutella will release dopamine. So will a walk. But fuck a walk, you deserve Nutella!

MrsMozart · 16/06/2017 19:37

I'd go with the Nutella and a decent sized spoon.

Hope things improve soon.

My dh is at work he has had to work long hours to get things back to nirmal after the robberies . Including moving to a new area. As clearly the area he was in is now a hotbed of criminal bastards.

My gp asked me to go in next Thursday which is stressing me no end . I HATE telling people in real life I am struggling and I think the whole collapsing thing may tip people off which means awkward conversations and name looking like a pathetic fool. Wine

Nutella is better than what I did having a tough time. I basically got home, opened a bottle of wine and drank it from the bottle while chain smoking Grin it did help briefly!
You could melt the Nutella and dip your strawberries in - yum

TiredMumToTwo · 16/06/2017 19:46

I would see the GP asap, I don't think now's a good time to come off medication, timing is very important if you are coming off this type of med & it might stop you feeling like you do right now. Eat the Nutella though, have my share as I'm on a diet but would love to join you!!

midgetgem2211 · 16/06/2017 20:09

Dig into the nutella!i am just coming off fluoxitine as it has completely messed my head up so you have my sympathy - and with you on the struggling not to self harm. Flowers

IHaveACrapCat · 16/06/2017 20:18

Oh OP that sounds really hard. I'd definitely be eating the Nutella, and also having a chat with GP about whether now is really the right time to be coming off fluoxetine.

I have had very strong SH urges at times, although have managed it by snapping a hairband against my wrist instead of other things (it's a thing apaz), going for a run (I hate running but it did help) and engrossing myself in a good book (currently engrossed in some Margaret Atwood).

Hope you feel better soon Flowers
