A friend's ex has done the most awful thing to her. He's jeopardising her career and his actions have caused her a lot of embarrassment in her workplace. She's a very private person and what he's done has had big implications, to the extent that even the company MD (it's a very large company) knows.
It's 100% vexatious but he's technically not done anything illegal.

I don't know the guy personally. I do know his e-mail address, his name, where he works, and home address.

I'd love to send him a glitter bomb but don't think that's wise.

So, to tide me over while I sit on my hands and prevent myself from signing him up to every type of spam I can imagine, can you tell me decent stories of petty payback?

Someone crashed into my car from behind, I got his business card but sadly not his reg number. He then refused to return any of my calls to try and get it sorted, and as I didn't have his reg plate I couldn't do much about it so had to claim for the damage myself.

However, I did have his business card and knew he was the manager of a local estate agents. My friend worked in a video shop at the time, and there was a porno section. I got her to nick a couple of porno dvds and send them to him at the office, addressed with his name on but not marked private/confiential so it was likely someone else would open the post.

Inside i put a card saying 'you left your dvds at mine Jason you old perve! ' alongside the two pornos.

I anticipated a red face at the office when his admin/minion opened it and then went to give him his mail.

Nothing as good as some of these but my ex owed me about £500, he was always pleading poverty and promised he'd get it to me soon. I saw him one afternoon with another woman (someone I suspected he liked), called his mum and the money was repaid within days.

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 11/06/2017 11:12

Bloody hell I'd not want to get on the wrong side of some of you lot.

Some of these confessions are shocking or made up.

FreeNiki · 11/06/2017 11:15

OP if you have all his details I would sign him up to some of the most depraved things the internet has to offfer. In particular for his phone number. I'd suggest writing a OP stating he's looking for sex on some of the kink websites is a good place to start.

One of my friends was thinking of sending her ex a load of sex toy catalogues after he cheated on her.

The websites actually say when you sign up to get catalogues that if you are doing this to harrass someone we log your details and ip address and will report you to the police if need be if a complaint is made.

Whatever you do, dont do it from your home computer, mobile or while connected to your home broadband provider. Do it from a internet cafe.

I had a ex-colleague of a boss who'd just announced that she was a grandma earlier than she'd expected and she was quite glamorous and liked to think she was young looking.

Anyway to our office was delivered a sign for her house saying "all welcome at grannie's house" or something like that. She quizzed me as to had I sent that and I honestly said no. I overheard her in the kitchen saying to the bookkeeper who came once a month asking if Super had sent that sign. None of her friends or ex colleagues ever owned up.

She along with another friend/temporary worker bullied me for about 2 years, I didn't think up any revenge tactics when I left. Thinking a glitter bomb delivered to her office may go down well though!

GissASquizz · 11/06/2017 11:19

Yeah...Some of you are quite scary.

SuperFlyHigh · 11/06/2017 11:26

Oh an ex Boyfriend (very brief)/platonic male friend of 7 years, he worked as an accounts assistant at a large company and had run ins with his superiors, one of whom was a woman (they used to be friends) - eventually he was disciplined and fired, slightly unfairly I thought as it seemed a bit of a cooked up allegation against him. He then told me he'd pissed in her carton of milk at work and replaced it. Eww.

Funny thing was was that earlier on this year he found me on linked in and wanted to meet up and hold out the olive branch (I didn't for various reasons), i mentioned this episode to him about the milk and he was disgusted and strenuously denied doing this. However I recalled the night in his flat years ago when slightly pissed he told me, and it was one of those times, when even if you know it's a nasty thing to do, they've done it and he did!

Fwend · 11/06/2017 11:27

Happy - yes, it was full, but it was before the days of smartphones luckily.

I scarpered leaving it bubbling away - not my finest moment to be honest. Blush

happypoobum · 11/06/2017 11:29

Some of these confessions are shocking or made up.

Really SanDiego? Which ones?

They all sound fairly regular and credible to me............

cushioncovers · 11/06/2017 11:31

Exh wanted me to drop round some of his stuff months after he moved out so I did but I also added in some of the porn magazines that he had left in the loft into the bag of stuff and then dropped it to his at a time I knew he was at work but his new partner was at home knowing full well that she would go through it.

absolutelynot · 11/06/2017 11:32

father of kids went on what could only be described as a cheating spree...went home packed up his stuff, but his most favourite, expensive (like a shit ton of money expensive), pre-kid purchased jacket, was packed into the bag with a penis cut out of the back in the middle, his work shirts had an inch taken off the arms/hem, his boxers were turned into hoola skirts and it was all dumped on the car of one of his conquests. The satisfaction of hearing about him finding the cock on his coat still makes me smile for hours.

EssentialHummus · 11/06/2017 11:32

I'm a LL. Had a particularly odious tenant in a houseshare threaten his housemate, download illegal porn, not pay rent (of course), shit in places outside the toilet and lots more besides. When he left he owed plenty of £ in rent and damage.

A few months ago a letter arrived to that house with all his bank details on, which I opened. I've since applied for and been granted a debt order over his bank account to re-coup what I'm owed. He'll have gone to the ATM/shops one day and found that he mysteriously couldn't access any money in his account. I'm not even a little bit sorry for him.

absolutelynot · 11/06/2017 11:35

oh , i also screengrabbed messages between him and one of his married 'friends', posted them on facebook, tagged her, her family, her husband and her workplace in it. They were up for a good few hours before being removed :) there was no dignity but massive satisfaction!

happypoobum · 11/06/2017 11:36

Gosh I am remembering some more - some I daren't even post!!

A shitty ex that I worked with had a very important piece of paperwork (pre internet/email) that had to be with his solicitor the next day or he would lose out on a property he wanted to buy. It had to be sent Special Delivery to arrive the next day. I swapped the envelope for another one addressed to the same address with just a blank piece of paper in it, so he still got the receipt as if it had been sent.

artycakemaker · 11/06/2017 11:38

I was seeing someone who cheated on me with everybody going and was very nasty and emotionally abusive. One of the women he was cheating on lived literally in the same apartment block as I did. One weekend they went away. So I smeared blackberry jam, yoghurt and bird seed all over his car roof and windows.... in a secure car park that was underneath trees where birds nested.....while the security guard just watched me (and gave me the thumbs up).

Maman79 · 11/06/2017 11:38

So no one has crushed laxatives up in someone's food? I have never done such a thing, just read about it Grin

AlpacaPicnic · 11/06/2017 11:41

I heard about someone once who got revenge on her rugby player husband by turning all his rugby shorts into hot pants and hemming lace onto them. Then packing them into just changing bag as normal.

I'd have loved to be there when he was getting changed...

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 11/06/2017 11:41

They all sound fairly regular and credible to me

You must know a lot of people who have been treated appallingly and then acted just as badly when seeking revenge.

Not minor tales of revenge on this thread.

Dazoo · 11/06/2017 11:43

Years ago an ex left his mobile at home on a Sunday he "had to work". After seeing several texts popping up that made it clear he was going to be shagging someone in a hotel that morning. The next day I put an advert for a very central flat with a rent price that was believable but very very attractive giving both their numbers....

justkeepswimmingg · 11/06/2017 11:49

OP you need to do the glitter bomb! I'd also sign him up to loads of junk mail by email and post, just for added annoyance (excessive amounts) Smile.

I don't really have any tales (sadly), but I'm enjoying reading others!

GhettoFabulous · 11/06/2017 11:51

Mine pales in comparison. If I need to fart at work, I try and drop the bomb next to one particular manager's desk, as I hate him. I sometimes give him the finger under my desk when he walks by. I always shout "Prick!" in my head when I see him.

AmberStClare · 11/06/2017 11:59

I'd suggest writing a OP stating he's looking for sex on some of the kink websites is a good place to start.

I saw this done and it is very satisfying. Hard nosed bitch of an assistant director, only time I ever saw her cry following the 50 odd emails offering to do all sorts to her. Person who did it tipped me the wink so I could enjoy the fallout too.

C4pinkwheels · 11/06/2017 12:00

A friend was cheated on and then kicked out of the luxury apartment she had been sharing with him, she was granted access for 1 hour to clear her stuff out. Several of her friends went to "help" her and stitched prawns, shrimps, dog food into the very thick velvet drapes in every room. Swapped the fuses in most electric appliances for ones that were dead, and unscrewed the vents for the hot air heating system and glued lobster and crab shells into the vents.
He put the apartment on the market and moved in with the OW but couldn't sell it, ended up on the market for years.

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 11/06/2017 12:01

Sometimes if dh has annoyed me I don't turn his pants the right way out when I take them off the washing line. But I'm a bad-ass me Wink

Op, can your friend make a complaint to the police for harassment? It seems awful he should be allowed to get away with that.

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 11/06/2017 12:05

Jeez some of these are awful. Really nasty especially the emails to the director that made her cry. How you could enjoy that I really don't know :(

If you're after minor I dripped water onto lazy-arsed flat mate's Clinique compact every time she ate my food/left all her hair in the plug hole/stopped paying bills/left her washing in the machine for two days. It made the top all sort of hard and shiney and unusable :)
