Not posting this to start a massive politics debate I'm just interested in the above question.

I voted labour, I put something about it on social media and a few older people have commented saying I obviously don't have "brains or life experience as them" & "young ones voting labour don't know what they are getting themselves in for".

I'm hoping I'll be proved wrong.
Not that it matters but I'm late 20s and those who made these comments range between 50-60.

Hope this doesn't come across as ageist, it's not my intention at all Blush

My 70-year-old parents both voted Labour too (spurred on by the threat of 'dementia tax')

stonecircle · 10/06/2017 12:13

Mind you, my dcs voted Labour because of JC. They'd have voted LibDem otherwise. I voted Labour in spite of JC.

Splodgeinc · 10/06/2017 12:13

However also know many who voted labour and will give their details to show the wife variety.

23 graduate high earner
67 retired teacher
62 teacher, good savings etc
45 low earner (husband high earner)
41 high earner self employed
43 high earner, child in indi education

Know loads of others and obviously this is anecdotal but it doesn't show any 'type' whatsoever!
