DH and I are trying for another baby.
Normally I'm a regular as clockwork on a28 day cycle....I'm now at day 30 no period and have the same achey boobs I had with my first pregnancy.
I'm too scared to do a test incase I'm disappointed Sad

Oh OP Sad

I really wish I could say something to make it easier. But you NEED to take a test. To avoid any disappointment, I'd wait a couple more days to make sure it as accurate as can be. Would your DH sit with you and wait for the results for a bit of added support?

Good luck OP. I had years of the disappointment of negative tests, it never gets any easier.

Mumsnet is one of the most incredibly supportive places around, if you ever need a hand hold there are so many of us here that understand the anxiety of TTC.

Thanks zaber

Making babies can be a stressful business, eh?

I'm never late and i saw two magpies this morning after seeing a run of single ones...a sign? Smile

2 magpies are a good sign. Do the test, fingers crossed for you.

Hello and as you already know, it doesn't get any less stressful once you do conceive!

You do need to test though, for the sake of your sanity!

loveyouradvice · 08/06/2017 11:55

good luck - and let us know! x

Just do it and fingers crossed for good news.

Regarding the magpies, as I waddled into the hospital to be induced with my second there were 4 magpies on the grass near the door. I turned to my DH and said "Oh look, 4 magpies, what does that mean?" He replied "It means someone has dropped their crisps!" Anyway I said the rhyme and got to 4 for a boy and sure enough several hours later I was holding my son.

Good luck.
