To think there is no such thing as a leakproof water bottle?!

Have lost count of the amount of water bottles we have amassed - majority of which are total crap. Need to get a decent one for DS (12); one that doesn't perma-leak over all his school books Angry

Any recommendations or are they all shit?

This doesn't leak - I have one, after destroying my work laptop when my previous water bottle leaked in my bag. The bottle has a lid that clicks shut and a metal hoop that you can swing over the mechanism to stop it from accidentally being pressed open. It's the only bottle that I have found which is genuinely leak-proof, even when dropped. I got mine from Amazon.

I've had a Cheeki bottle for a couple of years and have never had any problems with leaks:

I have a Polar Gear Triton and love it

I have a few different Contigo bottles and they definitely don't leak- even when left lying on a car seat or when I've dropped them. Haven't heard of some of the other brands mentioned but v happy with Contigo 😊

I like Camelbak Eddy too. I also find it very comfortable to drink from.

DS has a Sistema for school as it's smaller. He can usually cope with twisting the lid shut to avoid flooding his book bag.

Why not refill a bottle of water?

Another vote for Camelbak Eddy here.

Discovered in my extensive years-long pursuit of non-leaking bottles.
