Cleaner not being realistic

I have a new cleaners starting soon, there's a team of two and they'll be coming once a week to do a thorough clean and bed change.

They're coming tomorrow to do a deep clean which includes skirtings, tops and fronts of cupboards, oven, insides of windows.

They think the weekly clean will only take them an hour and the deep clean only 2 hours. I think they're bonkers...

I have 4 bedrooms, living room, study, playroom, dining room, kitchen, utility, 2 bathrooms.

How the hell do they reckon they'll get all of that done in that time?

It takes me 3 hours to do a normal clean and took my old team of 2 cleaners 2 hours for a normal clean and 4 hours for a deep clean which was realistic.

It's now making me think they won't be very good or will leave jobs not done.

Does anyone think their timescale is realistic? They've been to see the house and I've mentioned twice that they're not giving themselves enough time.

Yeah we had the same, I gave up for a while but then we moved and the house is bigger, not keeping on top of things at all.

My cleaners are doing a deep clean on Friday- 3hrs for a a kitchen, living room bathroom and 2 bed flat. 1 1/2 hrs on a normal weekly clean

I'm quite disappointed Grin did she rearrange?

kaytee87 · 08/06/2017 14:02

She wants to rearrange but I haven't replied yet. She also changed our first meeting twice so I'm really not happy and think this is a sign of things to come.

Bin them off and put an advert on your local facebook page. I've been put forward for loads of work via requests on there and I am shit hot! 😁

If they're any good send them my way!
I had an agency in. 3 girls for 1 hour 40mis (so 5 hour clean)
And they did... the kitchen. Hmm
We live in a 3 bed end of terrace, the kitchen isn't big and they didn't even clean inside the cupboards or anything. I was disappointed

Just noticed your update. Yeah that's not a good sign
