To ask what are the best things about having a little boy?

I'm almost 30 weeks pregnant and really excited to be having a boy. I am however getting a bit scared about the whole giving birth part, so trying to focus on the bigger picture. I would love to hear how great it is to have a son to help me concentrate on the positives.

MY DS (3) told me I was his best friend last week, it just melted my heart.

For balance I also have a DD and I love her to bits too.

I've often told my DC's that I'm a very lucky mom to have my favourite boy and girl as my own children.

That's lovely. MTBmummy
The way certain posters are talking you would think people on here are slagging boys off or something, when no one has said anything of the sort.

@noeffingidea I think you,l find it was you and others that were rude and insulting to start off with.

I just took umbrage.

For the record I am ware you are not slagging off boys and I understand the points you are trying tom, she. My issue is the manner in which I some of you have been so taciturn and accusatory about gender stereotyping.

Don't expect an apology form me. It won't be coming.
You can think someone is being unreasonable without pissing on their parade and being so psychologically disparaging.
