Are they in hiding? I'd have thought that given the recent atrocities and with so many young people still in hospital they'd have made an appearance somewhere as a mark of support and solidarity with the Nation.

Noel has described Liam as a fork in a world full of soup. I know how he feels on this thread Grin

It's only Liam vilifying Noel, nobody else.

2014newme · 05/06/2017 18:02

It does not help "unity" to Slag people off for no reason, be it Liam, the op or other brainless people

cowgirlsareforever · 05/06/2017 18:03

I checked online 2014 and the first few hits reporting it were from newspapers I don't read eg. DM. I was away myself for a few days too but you are right, there is no excuse for such sloppiness on mumsnet.

2014 No it isn't. Before Liam even came out on stage/before the gig, the set list was doing the rounds on Twitter and people were having kittens that Noel wasn't down to perform and how it was (and in paraphrasing) "unfair on them dead kiddies".

viques · 05/06/2017 18:08

bigbluebus there is no need for such flippant silliness. Smile You'll be saying next she is busy singlehandedly packing up their belongings in one huge taxpayer funded house to move to their other huge taxpayer funded house.......

I have always thought that if I was unlucky enough to be injured in a national disaster/event I would prefer to have a Nil Visitation sign above my bed, slightly more polite than No Celebs,No Royals, No Polititians!

pocketsaviour · 05/06/2017 18:15

Who gives a shit? How would it benefit our intelligence service to have some chinless wonder whose great great great great great great grandad happened to be a bigger murdering bastard than his rival, rock up at a benefit concert and be sympathetic through a bubble of privilege?

As I said, goady

TooGood2BeFalse · 05/06/2017 18:21

Ooohhhh OP embarrassing thread just have it pullled

GirlOnATrainToShite · 05/06/2017 18:24

You could have Googled rather than starting a thread Grin

ConferencePear · 05/06/2017 18:25

Harry was in Singapore raising money for his HIV charity in Sentebele.

cowgirlsareforever · 05/06/2017 18:27

I should have doubled checked, I agree!
It is embarrassing that I missed William's visit. I am happy to keep this thread on here though as a reminder to myself of my own stupidity and lack of brains.

Fair play OP.

cowgirlsareforever · 05/06/2017 18:36

Thanks Keira. I have been around long enough to know that Mumsnet is a pretty unforgiving place. I think I have a healthy enough attitude towards myself to be called brainless and embarrassing and think maybe they have have a point! Asking for the thread to be deleted is the coward's way out so I will let it stand.

OP posts:
MintyChops · 05/06/2017 18:38

Jesus, give the OP a break!

Anniegetyourgun · 05/06/2017 18:45

Personally, the less I hear about them the happier I am. There's real stuff going on in the world, I don't need fantasy royal distractions filling up the airwaves/front pages/Mumsnet threads
