Are they in hiding? I'd have thought that given the recent atrocities and with so many young people still in hospital they'd have made an appearance somewhere as a mark of support and solidarity with the Nation.

I get it araiwa. You think they have done enough. You really don't have to keep coming back in order to give me a metaphorical kicking Grin

From the royal diary.....good enough?Hmm

HaudYerWheeshtBawbag · 05/06/2017 17:37

Prince William has visited Manchester last week, he could not attend earlier as he was busy saving lives!. (the day before he flew the helicopter that saved a little girls live)

Harry is over sees, been doing work with UNICEF and also doing some work for the invictus games in Sydney.

MrsPeelyWaly · 05/06/2017 17:37

Maybe Kate is looking after her children

Pahahahahahahahahahahaaaaa!!!

They probably see them once a week or something

The nannies on the other hand, I'm sure will have their hands full grin

Done be ridiculous. It doesn't suit you.

Farahilda · 05/06/2017 17:38

I think Prince Harry's involvement with the Invicta Games has received some coverage (less on the TV news, because of the attacks) and has been booked in for months. The people he is supporting include the ones who go into harms way at the behest if their (various) governments. He might be cheering on some of those currently in hospital in a couple of years time. Because they'll still be important and worthy of recognition in the future too.

Flyinggeese · 05/06/2017 17:40

'It happens'? But the whole basis of your thread crumbles on that fact OP. It's hardly a minor point. I'd get this removed if I was you, it just pointless and inaccurate and unfair too.

JaneEyre70 · 05/06/2017 17:42

TBH I was very surprised that none of them were at that concert.....it would have had very intense security and they don't normally miss a good concert.

cowgirlsareforever · 05/06/2017 17:42

One out of the three has done something Flying. Prince Harry was in the UK for a week prior to leaving for Singapore and hasn't visited the victims. I'm just surprised really.

OP posts:
Hulababy · 05/06/2017 17:43

not sure why Kate and Harry haven't been seen.

If so concerned, a quick google can fill in some of the gaps, along with media images - so not that quiet and invisible.

Its not that long ago when they were seen! To start with they were all at Pippa's wedding at the end of May, 2 weeks ago.

Last week he was having meetings in Botswana regarding Rhino conservation.

He was hosting Obama in London on Saturday.

He was in Singapore yesterday, breaking fast with some of the muslim community there.

He is on his way to Sydney in a couple of days for the Invictus games.

BasilTheLion · 05/06/2017 17:44

Are you doing anything to help OP?

2014newme · 05/06/2017 17:47

I'm no royal fan but ffs the Queen and William both went. They royals were therefore represented twice. Harry is working on invictus. If they duplicate effort all the time they'll never get anything done.

What a pointless thread, the op didn't even know William had gone. Ffs. He was flying air ambulance the rest of the week.
Just read the royal schedule it's in the papers daily.

MumIsRunningAMarathon · 05/06/2017 17:47

What do you mean 'one out of three'??

Three what? 3 royals you've plucked out of thin air?

Why aren't you griping about the others? Beatrice? Eugenie?

cowgirlsareforever · 05/06/2017 17:47

Yes I have done what I can in practical terms Basil and donated what I can afford to give. I am also planning to go on a First Aid course as soon as I can as this happened very close to home to me and should it happen again I would want to be able to help in some small way.

Prince William's visit coincided with the raids on Rusholme and the building next door (Ronald McDonald House) was evacuated whilst he was in the MRI.
I expect it's hard to release the information prior to visits and also with the rapid change in news at the moment it is hard to keep royalty visiting hospitals at the top of the news when it is being bounced to the bottom of the page because of bomb scares, raids, new attacks, Presidential ramblings etc.

The vilification of Noel Gallagher for not appearing at Old Trafford last night is in similar taste to this. I recall it was similar with Princess Diana and Buckingham Palace not lowering the flag - the public want a panto baddie to rally against. It's easier to be angry at "characters" like pop stars and royalty than it is at random civilians who commit atrocities.

Just to be clear, I am not angry, just surprised and your post Keira probably explains how I missed the William visit. It's been a busy time for news to say the least.

Princess Royal take the most royal appointments....you didn't mention her??

Just the ones you are trying to slate....

PersianCatLady · 05/06/2017 17:54

Its also known that the queen hates gary barlow so thats why shes not going to the concert
What??

I heard the Queen fancies Mark Owen and has Nick Grimshaw over for tea.

Hulababy · 05/06/2017 17:58

The vilification of Noel Gallagher for not appearing at Old Trafford last night

To be fair, part of that issue was his brother's fault for slamming him on Twitter post concert. Noel is in Italy on a prearranged holiday. Liam travelled in from Europe, he came after performing at a festival in the Netherlands, so thought his brother should do the same. But tbh as they don't get on and don't talk, not sure that gig was the right place for a reunion (it would have risked making it all about them, instead of the cause) and I don't think Liam's tweets are in the right spirit either, not the night of the concert at least.

KeiraKnightleyActsWithHerTeeth · 05/06/2017 17:59

Well yes, Liam Gallagher is famed for being a prize dick.

2014newme · 05/06/2017 18:00

Op you aren't too busy to start a thread based on errors so I doubt you can't find the time to keep up with the news dearie. I was 6000 miles away in South America last week yet via the marvellous invention of this thing called BBC news online, I was able to see prince William visiting Manchester. however I will confess it dies take the reader to actually click on and gave a look. Perhaps ask someone to show you how?
