Im a smoker myself. But if I'm ever in a public place or communal area I always walk away to smoke, or go to my own apartment balcony.. I thought this was general courtesy, etc if at a bus stop and I smoke I move away or go behind the stop so I'm not blowing smoke in peoples face, whether or not they are a smoker who cares. Just manners.
Though today I'm lying on the sunbed and there's a woman next to me (literally next to me. Probably 20cm away) lights up a fag no bother and has no problem blowing it near me, smoking near me, I find this rude...(even though I smoke)
