Or is that little boy on BGT an annoying, unfunny cringey act?? I can't watch him!

The child comedian? Yanbu. Not funny. His act seems to be 'I'm going to bully and shame shitloads of people but it's okay because I'm cute'. I know lots of brands of comedy are based on that sort of thing but it's just uncomfortable for some reason because it's a child.

Fintress · 04/06/2017 15:01

No you are not being unreasonable. His father is a comedy writer and should be ashamed of himself not to mention mortified to have set up his child like that.

DesignedForLife · 04/06/2017 15:03

YANBU, it quite obvious the material is coming from an adult.

BromptonCocktail · 04/06/2017 15:03

@Fintress that's interesting - I assumed there must be an adult somewhere that was responsible. Didn't the see the show but only read about the backlash, I'm struggling with the idea of someone writing all this unpleasant material for a child to voice, seems inappropriate to me.

stillawakeatthishour · 04/06/2017 15:05

Yanbu.
I didn't find him funny, but arrogant and cocky

Fintress · 04/06/2017 15:06

His father is Liam Woodman, writes for TV.

lanbro · 04/06/2017 15:13

Exactly what dh and I said last night, first time we've seen him and it was the most unfunny comedy we've ever seen. Bullying and completely inappropriate

NotHotDogMum · 04/06/2017 15:14

Can't believe his parents wrote his stuff and then put him there like that, it was cringy and obnoxious. Not cute or charming at all.

Waltermittythesequel · 04/06/2017 15:15

Awful child. But not really his fault, I suppose.

foreverandalways · 04/06/2017 15:31

I actually switched the programme off at this point! Not a talent that's for sure.....

QuiteLikely5 · 04/06/2017 15:35

I felt he was quite akward to watch but he's only a child so I can hardly hold it against him I felt sorry for him if anything

Sirzy · 04/06/2017 15:39

I would be mortified if DS ever felt it acceptable to talk to anyone like that.
