For those who want to. Which party will you/have you voted for? One word/phrase answer. This is purely maths, there's plenty of debating questions already!

Lib Dem

And the point of this is? Other than stating the obvious about mumsnet is??

historyismything · 04/06/2017 11:09

TunaStubbs · 04/06/2017 11:22

No Scottish Green candidate standing in my constituency so SNP.

Well it shows how easy it is to conduct a completely meaningless poll if the people polled are completely unrepresentative of the population as a whole.

Or how the Tory majority in the last election shouldn't have been that much of a surprise given how close the polls were and many people won't admit to voting Tory even when they do. You only need a small percentage of people refusing the answer or giving a different one to skew the results significantly.

I will be voting Labour, as will DP. Our previous Labour MP lost by 0.3% in the last election and isn't standing this time, so hopefully his successor will be voted in this time.

Conservative. But this poll is pretty pointless. Only surprise is that there are any other Tory supporters on mumsnet at all!

Yes, all has been very left wing on here the last few weeks. Perhaps because any conservative supporters know they will be shouted down. There is little proper debate on here, just labour supporters accusing anyone else of being uncaring/ stupid / selfish.

Sorry for the lack of one word answer. Will be voting conservative but my seat is a safe conservative one anyway.

MoominFlaps · 04/06/2017 12:30

I've seen loads of right wing mnetters Confused

It's like that for a lot of things. No-one is just a selfish twat, they must be behaving in a certain way because they have a hidden illness.

People not having sufficient money for dull essentials is never due to them managing their money badly or poor prioritising, it's always the fault of Government and/or evil big business.

BarbaraofSeville · 04/06/2017 12:41

Not a thorough analysis of the results, but I used the find function on page 1 and page 3 to note the responses and very roughly it looks like 70% Labour, 10% Conservative, 10% Lib Dem and 10% other.

I don't think I see anyone admitting to voting for UKIP, although I think that now, as they've got what they wanted, a lot of people don't see the point of them any more.

CitrusSun · 04/06/2017 12:41
