To hate waste?

My dd has been making this slime recently. She has been asking for pva glue, shampo, washing up liquid and washing detergent.
I am skint and i hate using things i need on icky slime.
I guess its great fun and a relatively cheap toy but it gets everywhere.
Im the same about food and i have to scrape every last bit from the pan.
Am i weird?

No. I too hate this wasteful society we live in. Party bags., clothes, ...throw it away and just buy new seems to be the norm now. I also meal plan to avoid food waste. Really gets my goat.
