AIBU to think that if you offer something for free and someone makes an appointment to collect, they should actually turn up? Or at least contact you

I've given up on freecycle and just take my stuff to the charity shop now due to time wasters.

Never used it myself but have seen a few posts on here about freecycle and how dreadful it is for arseholes!

Same as giving stuff away for free on f.b. I got asked if i ever go to their town an hours drive away, no! And could I bring it round Sainsburys please as I'm working tomorrow between 11 and 3 no !

Several people asked if I would deliver - why would I use my time and fuel to deliver something you are not paying me for?
