I am a WOHM and DH is a SAHD. Over the summer, he and our DC go to our summer house near the beach five hours drive away from our home.
I will be working over the summer except for two weeks' holiday so my comings and goings are:
Go there for first weekend, come back to work
Go there for two weeks then come back home for work
Go there for next weekend then come back for work
For the last weekend of the summer, I would like them to come home which will allow us to get ready for school and mean I don't have to do the round trip over the weekend again. DH is saying they might stay there for the last weeekend and only come back on Aug 29 or 30
AIBU in thinking there will have had a fab summer for many weeks and it is not too much to ask for them to spend the last weekend of the summer at home and that way I get to see them?
