To wonder why so much fuss about Prince William going bald?

There seems to be a kind of horrified obsession with this in the media here. I don't quite get it. If you look around a significant number of men including young men go through this so why all the hand-wringing? It can't do the confidence of a young balding man much good to hear and see the massive stick PW has got over this.

Seriously though, it's not as if it's his choice to lose his hair at a young age. And it's cruel to make him (and other men experiencing hair loss) feel self-conscious about it. Who cares? People can be so ridiculous.
