To be a floating voter?

I have voted in the past, Lib Dem (mostly), Conservative- once - and am considering Labour this time. I always vote Green at locals.

I kind of feel I should stick to one party and embrace their ideals but I feel differently at each election.

No. What you do is the right thing to do. Make a considered choice based on manifestos and current beliefs. Gone are the days of a general party holding the general belief and morality they are traditionally associated with.

If more people did what you do- the general electorate wouldn't be so disillusioned that "they're all the same" " they all lie" etc and more people would vote

I agree that you are thinking about it and that's a good thing :)
