AIBU to expect the school to provide sun cream for my child on hot days like today?

That was meant to finish I apply before school and reapply on pick up. With youngest dc the nursery nurses apply throughout the day

No I don't expect it
I do expect that they insist on a hat and don't leave them outside for too long.
I apply cream in the morning and that's it.
I think cream can be dangerous as it gives you a false sense of security so you spend longer in the sun than is healthy.

It's up to you to monitor sun exposure.

YANBU.

This week's heatwave has been a bit of a surprise tho. It's still May. She can't be the only parent in the country who got caught out. Maybe ask the Head to send out a text reminder re; sunscreen?
