So, my partner has an idea of going camping sometime in June and it becoming a regular thing for us to do. However I have never camped anywhere. Could you please give me some pointers as to what we would need.
Also recommendations for items please if possible.

Are you asking for tent recommendations? I presume you know you need a tent, something to sleep on and sleeping bags or similar? Did you want recommendations for those? Presumably if your partner wants to camp, then they might also have some thoughts on what sort of equipment you need.

So what is it that's unreasonable?
