Can't stand Corbyn, Diane Abbott is about as thick as they come.
But I really hate the Tory policies and I think Theresa May is really cold.
What to do???

witsender · 22/05/2017 22:13

Ha! "Embroiled in the nitty gritty". What does that look like then? Looking at the details so you can work out who to vote for?

HoneyDragon · 22/05/2017 22:19

This is why I'm sick of political threads too. Some people just want to intellectual wank pop at people. Hmm

It does get wearing, this isn't an AIBU, and we do have a politics board. I'm politically invested, motivated and active but I'm in sick of some of the shitty attitudes and comments.

Violetcharlotte · 22/05/2017 22:20

Lottie try and look beyond personalities and vote for the policies you believe in. I'm not a huge Corbyn fan, but I believe in the NHS and education and housing issue are important to me. That's why I'm voting Labour.

Lottie991 · 22/05/2017 22:31

Violet I do try but I think he just deflects questions like they all do.
Its like when you decide to become an mp you have to learn how to deflect questions and not give a clear cut answer, It really grates on me for example corbyns latest interview on the IRA.
I am also totally with you his manifesto is better as much as I have heard about it, But who says he's really going to do everything he says?

Lottie991 · 22/05/2017 22:38

How does anyone trust corbyn to do what he says he's going to do when he can't answer simple questions?
And how does anyone trust Diane Abbott with anything she's so stupid, I dont get how someone so thick can have such a well paid job, And let's face it these MPs are on a ridiculous amount of money a year.
Why if Jeremy is so great is he not cutting MPs pay and expenses? Because he's just as greedy as the rest of them.

lazycrazyhazy · 22/05/2017 23:38

Lottie, whether or not she is popular or tactful Diane Abbott is not "thick". She came from a disadvantaged background but read History at Cambridge which is rather impressive. You're entitled to dislike her but thick she is not.

StickThatInYourPipe · 22/05/2017 23:57

Diane Abbott? She lost al credibility in my books when she spoke about her hate of private schooling and then sent her son to a private school Hmm

Lottie991 · 23/05/2017 06:45

Think we will have to agree to disagree on that one lazycrazyhazy, After all her cock ups and ridiculous things she says I would definately label her as thick no changing my mind on that one.
Stickthatinyourpipe, I didn't know about that one, haha

lazycrazyhazy · 23/05/2017 19:55

I'm actually not a fan but just thought "thick" was an inappropriate label. I am also under the impression that her privately educated child has SEN.

foxychox · 23/05/2017 20:05

Lots about Diane Abbott but nothing about Emily Thornberry?
