To think a you turn is not the same as going back to where you came from?

It appears TM is a master navigator. The ship is now pointing in the opposite direction to where it was pointing on Friday but it is still going in the same direction? How did she do that?

U turn. Sorry, had to point it out. The phrase comes from the shape of the letter. U turn.

As you were.

SoftlyCatchyMonkey1 · 22/05/2017 18:11

Always wondered why it was called a u turn and not a n turn?

JollySmelly · 22/05/2017 18:11

I think a U turn, having been performed once, can very easily be repeated once in office.
I'm not sure Mayhem is a 'Master Navigator' though. Manipulative duplicitous sociopath seems a better fit.

TheVermiciousKnid · 22/05/2017 18:16

Yes, not sure about master navigator ... The ship feels rather weak and wobbly.

ExplodedCloud · 22/05/2017 18:20

This U turn is a practice run for a subsequent U turn if they win the election as clearly shown by the 'same direction'

Zeeboo,
Indeed you have pulled me up.. And I offer humble apologies for my toping.

Weak and wobbly or arrogant and out of touch?
Hammond had to do a U turn (see I got it right that time) over his Nat Insurance raid. Can we have any confidence in her to negotiate with the Union if she can climb down so fast over such an issue.
