P4ORN. On a big shiny eff off 4x4. Stuck behind him on the roads today. Felt irritated that someone would pay money to declare their love of porn publicly and concluded he must be an utter wanker. Literally.

There was also TUR D0 around there with a dodgy screw in the D to make it look like a B

There wasn't! Must've been some other bastardised spelling of turbo. I can't believe how many posters on this thread have no understanding of the simple rules of registration numbers. Many of those posted simply don't exist.

Nothing wrong with correctly spaced classy dateless plates, I have a cheapo £3.5k one. Misspelled/misspaced ones are awfully chav though. Friend of mine has one worth well into 6 figures, it's frigging awesome though!

W1LY T lives in this town. I suppose she knows what it means. It has been on several different cards.

RockyBird · 26/05/2017 09:27

I saw a very fat, bald man in his 60s driving a white Mercedes with the reg HOO3 LUM with a bit of the 3 obscured to make it look more like a D.

I also, on the same road, same day saw R3 NOB (I'd previously pictured it) and B16 DKY. All driving, not parked.

AliceTown · 26/05/2017 09:29

I saw L30DED yesterday.

BazookaJoe90 · 26/05/2017 09:50

I remember seeing one in the early 90's in Manchester that was M1NGE. On a convertible 3 BMW of course, but it did make me laugh!

wasonthelist · 26/05/2017 13:18

I see a lot like this. This is actually illegal - but there is zero enforcement.

Oh, and bonus points to twatty plate driver for blocking the marked pedestrian part by not parking in an actual space.

deneedenee · 26/05/2017 14:59

One near me - F11L THY

diddl · 26/05/2017 15:38

I can't figure out what half of these are supposed to be spellingBlushGrin

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 26/05/2017 18:07

EVERY one who has a private plate is a twat?
What a daft thing to think

Empireoftheclouds · 26/05/2017 18:29

L17 CAX - now that is a twat plate. If you hwbe to illegally space it and it still doesn't spell the word then it just looks try hard.

PigletJohn · 26/05/2017 18:58

"L17 CAX "

what is it supposed to say?

sharklovers · 26/05/2017 19:35

F11L THY

Nope. Try again.

deneedenee · 26/05/2017 21:33

Shark sorry?

KenDoddsDadsDog · 26/05/2017 21:37

I saw a BL02KEY today . Mandatory personal plate on a Range Rover Evoque.

BeeThirtythree · 26/05/2017 21:59

I have a hearse with business name. All the rest have 'FD' included on plates. Have my name on personal car, only know one other person with my name in UK so definitely out me!
DH has his business initials.

Ok, the personal one might be tw*ttish but I think with our business names/nature of business, it does make an impact.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 26/05/2017 22:08

I drove behind a flat bed truck with a tank and coiled hose mounted on it with reg
LO 05 BOG. (loos bog)

I assume that he empties portaloos

Pebbles1989 · 26/05/2017 22:36

My favourites:

M1SERY (on a Range Rover last week - why?!)

PSYCHO (or very similar - on a McLaren near here)

BikeRunSki · 26/05/2017 22:45

There's a W1DOW near me, which I've always thought was an odd one.

PigletJohn · 26/05/2017 22:59

I think Melania has made an offer for that one.

Empireoftheclouds · 26/05/2017 23:35

what is it supposed to say? I have no idea?

spankhurst · 27/05/2017 00:32

I saw one today, a taxi in west London, with EVL 666. It didn't fill me with confidence.
Generally I find them all toe-curlingly naff.

RoseOfSharyn · 27/05/2017 00:42

Not RTFT but does anyone remember that episode of One Foot In The Grave where Victor Meldrew buys a new car and when it gets delivered the reg is P155 OLE?
Cracks me up every time!
