P4ORN. On a big shiny eff off 4x4. Stuck behind him on the roads today. Felt irritated that someone would pay money to declare their love of porn publicly and concluded he must be an utter wanker. Literally.

UP U 2 on a Rolls Royce at Loch Lomond.

My old boss had 4 GER on her Porsche. Her husband was called Gerald but I don't think they realised what it sounded like out loud when they bought it!

Also OH sent me a picture of 2 BE and NOT 2 BE parked together on his travels with work, am I allowed to post the pic on here?

DonaldTrumpsTrump · 23/05/2017 22:42

Nevermind I just googled it and there's plenty of pics there anyway!

Earslaps · 23/05/2017 22:43

I saw this one a while ago. I don't think I would get along with the owner.

I know a farmer with
'his name' veg 1.

Up in London many years ago I saw 2 cars parked on a drive. One car had 2BE. And the other car had NOT 2B.

cantfindname · 23/05/2017 22:47

Rockybird I saw that same car last week, parked in a Kent car park!!

MorvahRising · 23/05/2017 22:50

My day was brightened enormously a few years ago by spotting a van from a drainage clearing firm with the numberplate P00 6ONE.

AnnoyingKitten · 23/05/2017 22:53

This is the start of my number plate. It's not personalised and it nearly put me off buying the car. Was too cheap to refuse though.

I regularly see a 4x4 rangerover with the number plate WII SAC - I point it out to my 10 year old DS and my, how we laugh.

I'm desperate for ODFOD. How much will that cost me?

bonbonours · 23/05/2017 23:22

My parents have their initials on theirs but if you didn't know their names you wouldn't know it was personalised. I'm wouldn't pay money for it myself but I think that's okay. Ones where it kind of spells something are just wierd in my opinion. Someone I know has her name spelled out except the a is an 8 so it's not really. If it doesn't actually spell the word it's a bit daft if you ask me.

YolandiFuckinVisser · 23/05/2017 23:43

I once saw L11ETS. I did like that one. A good proportion of the cars in the car park at work have their owners initials incorporated. You have to know whose car it is to notice, not for me but not hurting anybody.

PigletJohn · 23/05/2017 23:58

My Ferrari Bentley Daimler Mondeo Allegro came with the previous owners vanity plate, so I got one with my own initials at each end. If you didn't know them you wouldn't know. The model of the car is also hidden in there.

RandomlyGenerated · 24/05/2017 06:53

I used to see S108HAN driving around. She always had fab cars as well.

TopSop · 24/05/2017 07:18

I saw one yesterday that was C1 DJT. The bolt holding the plate on made it look like an E - so basically someone is driving round with a number plate that says EIDJT (eejit?!)
I had a personalised plate with my initials once but it was a big swipe at an ex fiancé who dumped me far too close to our wedding day. And my husband has one now which I bought him that conceals the model of his car - the dream car he has wanted all his life and was finally in a position to afford so I thought 'why not?'

BitOutOfPractice · 24/05/2017 08:44

A local independent chain of bakers round these parts has BUN in its van reg numbers which I think is quite sweet.

In general though, personalised plates are wanky imho

RandomName9 · 24/05/2017 10:02

Me & the kids love spotting funny/unusual plates when driving around. A couple near us xxx GAS & xxx WAX (gas man & beautician). Also seen 2BE & NOT2BE by the river.

My brother is one of those annoying
"boy racers" in a stupid BMW that is almost touching the floor..his plate spells out his name (and disguises how old said shit car is) but doesn't & he has to explain it to everyone. Totally pointless in my opinion but he likes it!

curlilox · 24/05/2017 10:36

Near us is G1 ANT and he is.

Perhaps he's a urologist!

DagenhamRoundhouse · 24/05/2017 14:13

I did read ages ago that it's not a good idea to have a woman's name depicted in the numberplate as it advertises a woman drives it and can make you a target in places like multi storey car parks.

PenSylvester · 24/05/2017 14:18

Farmer near me has 0NION5 on his truck. Makes me giggle.

Empireoftheclouds · 24/05/2017 14:44

i did read ages ago that it's not a good idea to have a woman's name depicted in the numberplate as it advertises a woman drives it and can make you a target in places like multi storey car parks. This is so ridiculous. If someone wanted to target women in a multi storey car park they would just go there and look for one Confused

TheDowagerCuntess · 24/05/2017 19:12

Exactly Empire - it's the same sort of logic as putting a 'baby on board' sticker on your car to alert emergency services to the presence of a baby, as if a car seat wouldn't adequately do it!

ginghamstarfish · 24/05/2017 22:49

I think they're all a stupid waste of money, and have only ever seen one good one - the guys who used to empty my septic tank had xxx POO on their truck, known locally as 'the poo wagon'Smile

NetballHoop · 24/05/2017 23:07

I used to see F4T HO in Hampton. It was driven by a small Chinese man.

There was also TUR D0 around there with a dodgy screw in the D to make it look like a B.

That is hilarious. Grin
