What do you buy yo snack on?

Dp is constantly complaining that I don't buy enough snack food, personally I don't snack!

So what do you buy? I need some ideas so I can complete the shopping for tomorrow

Fruit or dried fruit is the only snack supplied here (ating outside of meal times brings on the wrath of mammy).
Then on some weekends I buy crisps or chocolate as a treat.

I sound delightful, right?! My family love me so much 😄

I bloody love snacks, have just eaten about 12 quail's eggs. We tend to have a variation of the below

Cheese, about 5 different types
Have a jar of pork rillettes in the fridge I made
Homemade scones with clotted cream
Biscuits
Tyrells crisps
Hummus
Various crackers
Breadsticks
Marinated ancovies
Continenental meats
Conditions
Oliver
Yoghurt
Crumpets
Always bread for toast or sandwiches
Fruit
Good tomatoes
Salted almonds
Smoked salmon
Nice big pork pie
Pickled onions
Chutneys
Malt load
Itsu gyoza in the freezer
If I'm cooking jerk or tandori chicken I'll do a few extra for snacks

Probably more, I'm a bit of a grazer...

Crisps, chocolate , bananas, apples. Sometimes I have a yoghurt.

We always have a lot of snack food in the house. DD can be fussy but is a grazer.

At the moment, off the top of my head we have:
crisps
popcorn
olives
fruit (strawberries, blueberries, bananas, grapes)
crackers - several types
cheese - several types - philadelphia, cheddar, gouda, parmesan
nuts - peanuts and pistachio
peanut butter
jam - several flavours
nutella
bread - brown and white
english muffins
sweet waffles
cereals - many types
lots of sweets - chubba chub lollies, 2 large bars of aldi milk chocolate, an M&S easter egg, half a box of milk try, 4 pack curly wurlys, large bag moam chews
ham
salami - aldi fennel yum!
in the freezer - 3 pizzas
frozen wedges / chips
a biscuit tin with oaties, choc digestives, fig rolls and seal bars in it
cherry tomatoes

And still dd will moan that there is 'nothing' to eat.!

@ErrolTheDragon I have no idea, I've repeatedly asked him today what he wants, but he's not answered one time!

Ah... he's trying to make you entirely responsible for his bad eating habits. In which case I do hope you've gone down the worthy carrot stick route.Grin

Imo 'snack food' is something you can eat with zero prep. The ultimate snack food is scotch eggs. Tesco ones. HTH.

Shockers · 20/05/2017 17:51

Oatcakes, especially cheese ones.
