I see advice here all the time to LTB and also to go NC with parents.
Sometimes it seems justified, and others not.
I'm on the brink of going NC with my parents right now. I have good reasons (childhood abuse and neglect).
And yet it still feels SO WRONG.
But then I read so much advice on threads about leaving bad romantic relationships and it seems to make sense. If my parents were a partner and had done what they did to me, I wouldn't think twice about leaving them.
So is it harder to leave parents? Or should it be easier, without the added complication of co-parenting etc..?
