I've seen "women" used so often recently when speaking of one woman, that I've started to believe there has been a change in the spelling that no one told me about!?!

"I saw that women the other day."
"I do that women's hair. She always tips."

I know IABU, but I am on edge and this has finally tipped me over! Aaaagh!!!

Totally agree. My teen DS who is otherwise a perfectly able, native English speaker, claims he cannot 'hear' the difference between these two words. He uses them interchangeably and it drives me mad.

Yeah. No one seems to confuse man/men as much though.
